If they're playing download before here there'll be heaps of clips on YouTube; then we'll see if they're any good live.

Like I said elsewhere; their performance of the pre-Inhuman Rampage songs isn't bad.
They just can't play Through Fire And Flames cos there's so many different guitar effects/solos going on :p

Dude...Operation Ground and Pound LIVE (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O3esKxK-jE)

I still wanna go! But it's at the Hi-Fi Bar...lol an underage gig would be perfect

The performance wasn't so bad it was unlistenable.

Their guitar tone just sucks and they sound sloppy because of it

Johnny_Wah

Their guitars are either way out of tune, or they're too drunk to hit the right notes. You'll take pics, right Grumma?

Grumma
04-24-2007, 10:00 PM
Nope :)

Don't have a camera phone and I won't be takin a camera :)

Yeah if they fix up what their guitar sound likes they can hide the mistakes.
But like I said; they play their old stuff well live from what I've seen on YouTube

Grumma

Wouldn't have a clue.

Doesnt make any difference for me :p

In this one (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5MAMafaPJo&mode=related&search=) near the start, Sam has cans of beer hooked up to a mic stand so he can drink while he's playing.

Clever drunk:p

Grumma

lol yeah with the amount he drinks he'd probably struggle to play Green Day :p

Wait no . . .
That's giving Green Day to much credit

I saw them live a couple years ago and they were alright, but seemed to rely too much on the audience loving them than putting on a fantastic show. And playing Download will be totally different to playing a concert venue, so it's not worth comparing to that..

Grumma

Yeah true.

What I've heard heaps of people say is that in closed arena's they sound a lot better then open places

And Download isn't a closed arena..

For some reason that song reminded me of Blind Gaurdian.

Yeah thats pretty sweet. I still can't believe how similar their songs sound against each other...its all the same song structure and tune.

Which is awesome.
