If there's an update done to, or needed by the band's official homepage (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/
), post it here!

Glenn (I think?) mentioned in another thread that he never checks that site - and although many people use this forum or MySpace alot more, the homepage is still the final word on most things, and includes handy lists of archived gigs, photo galleries, tracklistings, videos, etc.

* The front page now advertises the upcoming Festival Hall Live DVD (somewhat old news).

* Haha, I found it clever that one of the banners available is still ".../MayTour.gif", but the picture has been changed to the current tour - so it automatically updates everyone's signatures!

* The tattoo page has been updated with a few more people's art.

And now, for some things that need updating:

* The list of singles on the main site doesn't include Long Live The Weekend, or Nothing Lasts Forever.

* The topic on the IRC channel is still 'www.thelivingend.com - "Wake Up" the new single off the already hit album "State of Emergency" is in-stores now!'

* The current gig list still lists shows from two weeks ago (Not that it matters, but I'm looking for things :p)

* The lyrics and notes page is still 'coming soon'.

* The page 'Carry Me Home' in the Links section is no longer available, and I can't access the 'Unofficial Street team' page either.

Yeah, they have more than enough excuses, that's for sure! I was just bored, and decided to have a look-see, and mention a couple of things I've noticed for a while, before they were forgotten again. All in all, the site is very well maintained and works brilliantly.

Yeah, you can view the lyrics by right-clicking the song titles, but there used to be a whole lyrics page (http://www.thelivingend.com/lyrics/lyrics2.html), with commentary on some songs by Chris. Apparently that was going to be updated and re-linked.

The lyrics page is still available, but obviously not with any new songs. You have to go directly to the page and i can't remember the URL. I have it in my favourites at home but i'm not at home.

I linked it above. The prospect of something that is more easily accessed and includes commentary from Chris or the others means that I think it'd be worthwhile following through with the intention to update it.

The Living End are taking a short break before starting work on the next album. Before they knuckle down to record, however, they’ll play Blackjack in Perth, The Great Escape in Sydney, and Maynia at Dreamworld in April/May (all Australian dates).

The Rising Sun video (which showcases a sense of humor many might be surprised by) was recently shot for the Cold Chisel tribute album ‘Standing on the Outside Looking In’ is now up on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0C-28TsqykM or check it out on Sunrise (Aust) Tuesday March 13th.

I would say that they are just showing the clip, otherwise they would of mentioned if it was live, which they didn't.

Under the heading/link "discs" you can now view all of the TLE's singles/EPs and at the bottom of each page there is a "notes" section where you are given some nice facts and figures. :)
