I may or may not go next weekend. I dunno yet. Then again, next week's our last week of classes and then i have almost a week off 'till my first exam (incidentely, that's also my birthday!) so that should be okay.
I'ma gonna purchase some chalk tomorrow to do my bit around the sidewalks.

Well its not. I did a practise run in my backyard so here's a demo of what the chalk can acheive...

Soon as it gets a bit darker i'ma go chalk the town. I've even found a few streets where the actual road is smooth enough to write so i'm planning on making the writing stretch across the entire street.

Make sure you go far enough across town, otherwise the police will plot all the locations of chalkings on a large map with little pins, and raid the house in the middle. Your house - unless you act all sneaky and do it centreing around the police station :p

Just curious, but what's the band's stance on street-teaming? If you get in trouble for doing stuff, like posting posters or chalking, I suppose it's your own fault. But if you don't get caught, can the band be held responsible?

I've heard that yeah, the band can get in trouble if flyers are posted in illegal spots eg. car windscreens, private property.
But chalk i can say with full confidence, should be fine.

I only say that because I know that at uni you need permission for everything, otherwise your club/society can be fined, etc. I'm with you, though - it's just chalk.

It should be but if you put up piosters and flyers in certain suburbs/councils the band can get fined if there is no contact numbr on the flyers.

M'kay. Just got back. I used up my entire box of chalk and i felt very shifty roaming 'round the streets at night and people gave me odd looks but whatever, there's chalk all over the place now. Here's a few pics...
