although, I can think of some similiar examples here in russia - that concerns not poker but simple playing machines.some of these women are ready to spent all the month money they have (it's about 130AUD) just to play one day.very sad to see situations like this.

their album is falling down the charts...still hasn't gone platinum...and i hear no moment in the sun on the radio
they still haven't released WN to an international market at all, and surely they should be doing that?
i'm not even sure if state of emergency got overseas at all.
there are no reviews on top music websites like rolling stone and allmusic for the album...
and to top it off, their main tour is all 18+ gigs, in bars...why aren't they doing a big tour like last time, festy hall and such???
am i jumping to conclusions or is any of this bad...

Nope, nothing to worry about.

SOE went to the US, UK, Japan, etc - but like with all the other albums it didn't happen right away.

They will do another tour for the kids, and I'm sure they have their reasons for not doing festy hall type gigs right now. They are, however, playing just about every festival in sight!

Their album is falling down the charts, but its not crashing. People are still buying it, just there are more newer albums people are also buying! The tour, a new single, more airplay will keep it steady/bring it up again.

Moment in the Sun was on the radio yesterday. But I don't know if it has been offficially released as the single to the radio stations yet...so expect heaps more airplay shortly! White Noise (single) is still doing really well if you ask me, it's been out for aagggeeessss, but the kids still love it!

If you ask me, this is only going to snowball into something massive!

White Noise hasn't been released overseas yet, but maybe its because they want to wait till they're free to promote it over there? Playing on letterman and such, maybe doing a tour? It's all timing.

The album will go platinum, its just a matter of time. It might even go double platinum. Who knows.

For overseas touring - I'd say expect them in July or beyond - they'll likely be doing another tour of Australia in April / May. Probably makes even more sense for them to have a bit more time off, so I'd say maybe late August or September.

Me TOO! They need to just play the whole song. I also hate when they take forever introducting and it cuts into the song and when they cut off in the middle of a song to do something dumb. Once, they cut off one of my favourite songs in the middle just to go "IIIIIIIIIT'S MIDNIGHT!!"
That's why I've pretty much stopped listening to the radio.

There aren't good radio stations in these parts. It's like 80% country, 10% radio evangelists, 9% bad pop music and 1% polka/old people talk radio/bluegrass/other such shit.

Even when I was into shit music, the radio still got on my last nerve because of all the dumb DJs and cutting off of songs. I only listen to my iPod. As a result, people think I'm a hermit because I don't know the popular stuff, but most of it sucks so I'm good.

Yes. Zinc FM. Its 100.7 in townsville and 101.9 in mackay. Used to be 4MK FM. Thats when i was 4MK and switched to FM. 4MK used to be ABC or some shit when it was on AM freq. They play exclusively rock music. Is the only radio i listen to.
