Anyone get board errors?

Straight after the MNL set, I refreshed the page and BAM database errors.

It might just be the server the forumz are hosted on being down or something, but yeah.

its been happening on an occasional basis for a while now. How completely uninteresting though. I wish someone would destroy this thing altogether so we could get a new one.

haha, i freaked out the first time today, cos i'd just uploaded all those vids and i thought i'd maxed out my broadband so much that i couldn't even do web browsing...but then everything else worked, so was cool.

and i'm begining to think i'm going to have to go back to IE for the time being...so many things don't work for me on Firefox anymore. :(

Database errors happen on vBforums depending how much traffic or how many things are going through the server. They are annoying, yes, but if you have the powers to do a server/database reset then it usually does the trick for making it get back to normal.

I got the database error twice in the last 2 weeks. I can't remember what browser I was using but the forum keeps crashing in IE for me.

I really want a new board (if you hadn't noticed). The latest version of the vbulletin should at least have some better protection against spambots, and I think a clean slate would be nice. The only thing is that I need to save heaps of jawnposts first.

They're all coming from different IP addresses now, so IP banning them is useless. And instead of coming from China, most of them are Russian signups now.

I emailed HQ before and got an instant reponse from Anastasia and she said she'd tell Woody asap.

I know from the temp forum, I clicked the Email Verification in the board settings and that stopped spam being posted

they used to sell them at my old work. 3 for $10 which is kind of unreasonable compared to male condoms. They also look kinda awkward. The plus side is that the ones they sold weren't made of latex so if you have an allergy then they may work for you.
