The production on White Noise itself is heinous...... what the hell is going on?? The bass overwhelms the drums to a degree that you wouldn't even know Andy is in the song, and when you do hear him, it's flat and a bit 'eh' sound wise. My thoughts on the song still stand - poppy, middle of the road radio shite that these guys are so much better than.

Now, How Do We Know - holy crap, a proper, finished, high bitrate version of this turned up loud kicks your arse to the kerb and back. If there was a choice between this and White Noise for the first single, methinks the wrong choice was made.

Listen Up Suzy is just fun. Fast, rocking, bluesy - the exact thing TLE are great at. _Hope_ there's more of this on the album.

Not sure if they're worrying about it anymore, but I was led to believe in releases of old, that if a store sold it before it's official release date, they could be fined and all.

I dont think it was about stopping people getting it per se, more about making sure the copies sold in the first week actually counted for that week, for the aria sales thingy.

So just got back from riding into town. JB failed! And Sanity had it in stock - how bizaare!

So it's been on repeat for like the last half an hour. I know I'm not a musician or anything, so my opinion probably means sqat...but, I LOVE White Noise so much, and when How Do We Know came on it was almost disappointing (and awkward sounding after WN). So I skipped it, and went straight to Suzy.

Suzy is freaking awesome, love it. Its fast, its rock and roll, and its fun. It's great that we got it as a b-side, because as fun as it is I think TLE are so far past that stage its not funny, and to have it as one of the 11 tracks on the album would have been a crime.

just my opinion.

on the topic of the other two b-sides, can't seem to find live to love on the nokia site. the nokia site i discovered has the itunes originals, which i would purchase from them, if i didn't just download itunes, haha.

White Noise itself is a keeper for sure. I really like it, and the emotion.

How Do We Know has been growing on me, which is ordinarily the best reaction I have to new songs, but in this company it's not enough! Still like to rock out to it.

Anyway, I live in the US and just pre-ordered White Noise and ordered the single, so im not worried about 'Listen Up Suzy', but i am worried about finding a way to hear 'CIA' and 'Live To Love'. definatly hyped for the new album, but i live in the US and pre-ordered it so im sure i'll be waiting an eternity to hear it. So far ive heard a nice chunk of songs from it, and can't wait to rock out to what sounds like one hell of an album!

Finally heard CIA on YouTube, and holy shizz! that song rocks, I haven't heard TLE sound like that in years. Love the whole rockabilly feel of it.

Also heard Listen Up Suzy, which friggin' rocks! In all honesty, if I was TLE i totally woulda chose it for the first single and it definatly woulda made the album.

Beware The Moon . . mixed reactions at first, sometimes Chris kinda sounds like patrick from fall out boy, and i can totally hear the Jacko influence, but it's definatly grown on me. Very funky. I put it on my iPod and listened to it 5 times on the way to the store last night.

When buying from Itunes - what format are the songs? I've heard that they ain't mp3.

I don't own CIA yet, but it does sound absolutely awesome. I'm just hoping that I'll be able to listen to it on my mp3 player, which isn't an ipod.

in iTunes i presume they are in .m4a format. Which can be converted to MP3 unless the file is protected.

They're Apples own format m4p, the only way to convert it to mp3 is to burn to a CD and rip it as an mp3, its ridiculous but it is Apple
