At the moment I'm really frustrated with trying to find clothes I like in melbourne.
Where can I find thin ties, a decent range of band shirts of bands like tle, green day, you get the drift, buttoned and colared tops, black/dark jeans and other pants. I've been having to trawl through shopping centres for hours without necesarily finding anything I like, which is a massive waste of time. If anyone can recommend somewhere it would be really appreciated. As many details as can be given. I live in Blackburn, near Box Hill, in the East, but post for anywhere for other peoples benefit.
1 - the meeting the guys thread in Gen Endness has been done.
2 - shopping in Melb thread has been done
3 - can I suggest you do a search before posting a new topic.
4 - check out the newbies thread
5 - welcome to the boards.
haha, these clothing items are things you can find...anywhere?

Smoke Dreams on flinders st are best for band merch, it's right near the station, google it for the exact address. also try Off Ya Tree (there's one at Eastland), Dangerfield (in the city), and shops on Greville St, Bridge Rd and Chapel St.

thanks, I'll those places as soon as I have spare time, which may be a while. Just starting to teach guitar, and picked up another subjects at school, so stuff is hard now. I also have a big concert for clarinet coming up-one of the biggest music festivals school bands can go into. I forgot to mention I'm a girl, so do these places sell stuff for girls?
I can't wait to raid savers in a few weeks.

Rather than starting a new thread, I thought I'd just ask here!
Anyone know of some nice/cheap little cafes or restaurants in the melb CBD (or close to it) that are open for breakfast??
You'd think I know of some considering the number of times I've been over this year :p
But yes. Just wanna know cos dad and i arrive at 7.10 sunday morning, so we'll be in the city by 8am and will want to eat!
Hey Nicole,
Try Degraves st, its just off little collins... food is exxcellent...
but apart from that, choose a corner, any corner... :)

They have a waffle place on degraves st. Mmmm... waffles.
One of my faves is a little(when I say little I mean limited space inside and chairs and tables outside. It's bright yellow, has pineapples all over the joint out the front, and its on Elizabeth st, I can never remember the name of the place!!
It's not too far from Outre Gallery, which you should also go check out, I loovvveee Outre!!
