Hi All...I have created a group on facebook...The Living End MUST bring White Noise to Tasmania! Please join us in showing the guys what a mistake it is to have left Tassie off the tour schedule & hopefully they'll book us in a show if enough ppl show their support for their fave rockers!!!

They didn't leave a link! :p

I doubt TLE/TLE HQ have enough time to check myspace, let alone facebook though!

BUT STILL, I WANT THEM TO COME BACK BEFORE I LEAVE! haha

I think you'll find this is more the major centers tour and then in a few months after going overseas they will come back and do an extensive tour. If there's one major Australian band that goes regional, its TLE... I hope they go there though. Tassie is under rated. (maybe falls festival even?)

Yep. I'm hoping for a spot at Falls (acts announced aug13th!) until we hear word of any other tour.

Thing is tho, Hobart IS a major center in Aus - it's a freaking capital city, damnit, no matter how small it is!

I'd be uber stoked if they played Falls too, just not necessarily the Tassie one, but tickets are pretty hard to get too. For the Lorne one anyway, no idea about wherever it is in Tas

Marion Bay. Really nice spot!

It's good knowing the back roads to get there too, like a few of us did in 2004 and 2005. Most people that live in/around/near hobart don't know the area and usually take the main highway down and end up waiting for hours (like 3-5 hours) to get in. We waited 30 mins :p

Depends on who's playing as to how fast tickets sell. But they've been selling out quicker and quicker each year I think.

True it is a major centre... You just get ripped off the most but I have every confidence they will go there at some stage. But hey, I live in Brisbane and half the Splendor bands are doing side shows in every other city but Brisbane because Splendor somehow counts for Brisbane, even though its 2 and a half hours away and people from all over Australia go and tickets are near impossible to get... so yeh, we get gipped too... So does Adelaide and Perth. The only way to guarantee someone is coming is to live in Sydney or Melbourne! (where more than 1/3 of the country lives!)

haha, i actually am moving to melb next year for study :p

But yeah, I feel for WA and NT too. Sucks, but I guess we should be used to it!

The thing is, for so many bands of so many genres (especially punk, metal and JJJ peeps) Tassie is definately the place to go. We've had so many internationals and major aussie acts lately its not funny, and they're all WANTING to come here. What I can't understand is if we're this great big star on the map for all these people why the hell does it have to be such a big deal for this band, and it always has been. and yeah, blah blah blah, i know what you're all going to say (manager as well), but it's still my opinion and it still feels pretty shit when we get left off by certain bands for 'national' tours.

Nicole, it does help that you live a lot closer than the majority of the peeps going :p

and as far as I can tell tickets sell as fast as Lorne ones.

and yes, i'm on the list hoping for a TLE announcement too :)
