Hey all!
Ever since my copy was stolen a couple of years ago, i've been chasing a copy of the West End Riot single. Every time I see it on ebay, it goes for a heap more than any other CD single.....
Why?
It is the only thing I am missing from my collection, and I just can't bring myself to pay so much for a CD single that I've already bought.
have a scout through second hand shops - that's always my advice to people...
it seems to be one of those songs that a lot of people love though - that might be why there's so much competition for it!
thankfully i bought my copy from ebay a couple of years ago when no one seemed to want anything much to do with the boys...

I found my Save The Day single in a second hand shop. They had alot of TLE singles but I don't think you wanna come all the way here just for a single.
what i generally do - if i know that someone is desperate for a certain single and i know of a place i can find a copy/i happen to see a copy around the traps somewhere i'll buy it and then get whoever wants it to pay the cost of the single plus postage...
they can either pay by money or sexual favours :p
just kidding... i accept barter as well! :D

Well, if anyone knows of, or has a spare copy of West End Riot...i'd like it! I'd be happy to pay or trade for it....it's just sh!tting me that it's the only thing I don't have.
And before you ask, no I won't trade any genuinely rare stuff for it (or any sexual favours! :p ).

i am already looking for this single for another forumer - but if i happen to come across 2 copies i'll think of you...
how much are you willing to pay/spend on it?
and what "genuinely rare stuff do you had that you won't trade?

Actually, I do have two copies of the SOE promo.....i'd swap one of them.
one was on ebay the other day that went for $5
$15 is a bit much I think.
I payed a $1.50 for my Save The Day single. :p
ok - i shall keep an eye open for WER for you too - no guarantees though!

I didn't see this thread before and posted my own looking for copies of WER and Pictured but it got closed.
So to reinstate what I said in that thread, If anyone has any spare copies of either of these singles or can get a hold of one could they please let me know and I would be happy to buy them for a fair price.

Yeah, I saw that too. I wanted to bid on it but when I saw the price after signing in, I backed away..far, far away! :p I really want it, but I dont wanna spend that much. Well I would, but I dont have that much just to spend on a single, even if it is TLE! :p

I saw alot of old tle singles in a store a few weeks ago but didn;t buy any cause i have them all... i should go back for all the boardies!

They have The Living End singles sometimes on trademe, I'll keep a look out for the ones that have been requested on this thread.

Seeing how this has turned into a rare singles thread I'll tell you about mine. I've bought STD, ATD, POS (US & UK), WOYR (live tracks) from ebay. But just them I splurged on Mum's credit card and bought

i have bought all the singles from ebay, but i'm still looking for West End riot, Dirty man, Tabloid magazine & I cant give you what i havent got. Any help in finding them would be appreciated!! I went to a 2nd hand shop on the weekend and they only had POS/SS.

I Can't Give wasn't a retail single, so you'll have trouble tracking that one down. There are only very few Radio copies that turn up on occasion.

I don't really care for rareties.. I mean, they're cool if you have them. But not worth the time/money IMO. The only singles I have are ones that I've bought when they were current (all the MA and SOE ones, excl. NLF), except for POS/SS and STD, which I bought cheaply at a second hand place.
