No, it's okay. It's not my cancer. Thank God.
It's my cousin.
i hate that Liz and her family are going through such a rough time!
sounds like you not only need a hug Lizzi but you need a love package!
*M!
Thank you *M.
I hate that my parents have said I can ask question and talk about this. But every time I ask something the answer I get is that I'm too young or I won't understand. I hate that the only people I've opened up to are my friends. I was pulled behind the science lab today at lunch and my friend took turns at giving me hugs. This made me cry. Then art took my mind off things. I love splattering paint on a canvas.
i hate ringing people!
i hate that i missed out on International Talk Like a Pirate day (which also happens to be Ryan "love of my life forever" Girdler's birthday...) i can't believe i forgot!
i love that it's home time and i've already locked everything up for the day!
i love going home when it's still light outside!
*M!
Bye bye *M.
I love being home.
I love tonights homework. Which sounds so weird.

i severly hate:
random lady got hired to organise the finer details of the next exhibition that i set up.
she is always complaining that there isn't enough work for her to do so silly me asks her some questions in the hope of making set up time more manageable (ie so i don't have to stay here until 10pm wednesday night so i don't miss out on going to the Big top gig)
this morning she waltzes into my office with a folder saying:
"all the answers should be in here, you take over from now 'cause i'm not going to be here after Friday"
she promptly goes and sits in the coffee shop for an hour not even bothering to check on the gallery when people go in and out of it!
i'm SO pissed off at the moment - she basically gets paid to drink coffee and complain!

I got all excited this morning, clicking through the CH mailing list posts I saw "New Neil Finn Song"! I was hoping it would be something from the next album that's been let out early, but it was just some kiwi singer releasing a song he'd written.
God I wish I'd have been born maybe 10 years earlier, so I could have seen CH live.

Very frustrating! Although I'm only 18, so I'd really need another 15 years. Even then I'd still miss The Smiths, on the other hand I could have experience the original Whitlams lineup.
Still, I wouldn't like to be turning 30 something either!

I hate jobs that aren't just a matter of "Do 7.5 hours work and go home". Unpaid extra hours suck.
i have been posting for the last half hour or so! :p
so it doesn't really count as work!
and since there is no one else here at the moment AND it means that i'm not using up net hours/downlads at home... :p (again)
i should work til 5:30 with an hour off for lunch - i generally don't get lunch though - and someone walked in to the gallery right on 5:30 so i had to stay open...
and then i had to lock up...

Salt water is really good for infections, but if that doesn't clear it up within a few days get some Paw Paw ointment. It's in a red tub and you can use it on just about anything.

A new pair of Oakley sunnies, finally some sunnies I can walk in a straight line in! haha

haha, I've been called that before. Also been called (I'll try to write this phoenetically (sp?) ):
- de John-gee
- de Jange
- de Gjohn (argh, think of saying it a French way - I think it has French origins, but Dad's Ductch)
- de Schlong - that was a just some guy at high school being a dick (not pun intended)
But the correct way to pronounce it is "de Yong". It's like a silent J. Technicaly de Jong would be "de Yong" and de Jonge (with the e) should be "de Yonga" but we've always said "de Yong"
Trust my surname to sound like a food too!

Haha poor Cam. How do you pronounce your surname again I've forgotten sorry!
Mine is easy as hell to pronounce, dunno how you could mis-pronounce White bloody gay ass surname that is!
So back to my list whilst mum vents:
Where was I? ah yes,
My Elwood t-shirt with the gretsch on.
Pair of Oakley sunnies.
2 Tiger t-shirts from dreamworld. One glows in the dark (it's just a tiger head and the eyes glow in the dark) and the other one has the two brother tigers sultan and rama.
A plushy tiger, he's all soft and floppy. So many cute poses you can put him into.
3 pairs of boardshorts. One with an aussie flag print, they look really cool now I found a pair in my size. Got another pair which are actually men's boardies but who gives a crap, I think they look more like girls. They're red with these circles on that say "rhythm, the sound of change" or some crap. They just look nice.
Then I got a pair of white boardies that have a beach scene stretched around them.
Got 2 tiger bracelets from dreamworld. One has a series of linking tigers and is silver and the other is a yellow charity band and all money goes to tiger conservation. Mum got one too.
Got a sudoku book for the flight home. I was brikking myself coz I chose to go sit next to an emergency exit on the flight room (you get heaps more leg room) so in case of an emergency I would have had to have yanked off the cover and thrown it out. It was kind of funny though as the woman is explaining it and she gives you a card with diagrams on. The diagrams showing how to remove the emergency exit are so bloody funny because of the expression on the dudes face!!
I got some cool Billabong PJ's that have little skulls lying in a field of flowers on them.
2 pairs of pants from jeans west for only $30. They were originally $70 a pair.
So I got a pair of black moleskin jeans and a pair of cargo's that actually fit me for a change!!
I got like another 3 pairs of shoes. I'm terrible with casual shoes. oooo I like them "ok then!"
So I got some of those dunlop volley's with the skull on like Mel's. They have heaps of them up there!!
Got a new pair of latest tech Adidas's from factory outlet for only $85 score!
Got a pair of blue sandal/thong type things. Leather and all, were $79.95 got them for $15. Bargain!
Err that's all I can remember right now. I'm pretty sure there was heaps more that I've forgotten though.
EDIT, sorry Cam for asking twice. People got in before me. Crap I just got strawberry jam on my laptop keys haha
People always think I am my mum when I answer the phone. It gets really annoying coz they go "Hi Denise" and then launch into conversation and I'm like "whoa, hold up mate this is meeee!!"
Trust my surname to sound like a food too!
HAHA! love it...
i was actually thinking that same very thing when i was wondering about pronunciation...
that was a fun post - thanks Cam!
:)
i want to listen to the sound of music for some un known reason! (poor brain!)

You saw me? haha probably. well, just before the guys came on someone asked me (not sure of her name) if i wanted to go sit at the side of the stage where i could see.. like behind the things that we blocking off the side of the stage...if that makes sense. so kind :) hehe.
that probably gives you a hint as to who i was... oh well... lol

Cam, I always thought it was "de-jong" if that makes any sense to you. Just say it phonetically and it should be how i'm saying it.
Like I said, my last name is easy as all hell. It's my first name that dickheads can't say properly.
Like in Queensland they spell it "Loren" or say it Looooooooooren or really drag out the letters. God people it's Lauren.
Some peple say Lauryn too. Grrrr

Ha, what the hell? How would you go about pronouncing that way of spelling Erin anyway?!
airn?
WOW
that's odd...
maybe they just got their vowels confused... <_<
it's like the middle bit of CairnS though...
odd...
i've had people call me Maria but pronounced liek Daria with an M instead of a D - gees i hate when people do that!

haha Daria. That reminds me of Dario from Avanti - those characters they used to teach you Italian in school. "Dario e sempre in ritardo!" "Giorgio e molto burgiardo!" It's suprising what you remember.
I was looking at the Thanks section in Burn The City's new album before to see where Kim's name was twice. Then I noticed Travis Dempsey's name there!
i guess they just spelt it like it sounded
erin- air ren
it scared the crap outta me though, i never thought i would have to correct someone's spelling of my name
i love looking at pictures of Graffiti!

Yeah I did about 9 years of it too. Didn't help me much over in Italy though. All I could say was "Grazie", "Prego", "Quanta Costa?" and "Dove" added with my English words.
I was wondering a while ago if this thread includes the "I'm something", "You're something", "Interesting Facts and Info", "OCD", etc threads. I guess it does.
I'm going to gym soon
I still have my OCD with checking all the new posts
