Since i bought my first copy of the Living End self titled album, it has been stolen about... 5 times.
parties, friends "borrowing" it and had my car broken into.
Also, my friend has had his stolen twice.
I am wondering if it is the most stolen cd by an aussie band.

Yeah.. I'm still on number one!
I've only had to buy 1 copy.
Though I was tempted to purchase a second copy when there was new artwork. But didnt.
I had to buy 2 copies of Roll On, cause my old man "borrowed" it for his car and wouldnt give it back. (He already had the S/T)

Would someone mind explaining what exactly the deal with the changed cover on ST is? Because I had no idea it even existed until I was at my friends place a couple of weeks ago looking through her CD rack and found that the back of her ST CD was different to mine.
So which was first, why was it changed, is either of them rarer than the other..? Etc..

I had one until recently when a friend gave me another one coz I complained about my original one being so old and broken.
Roll On I've had to buy 3 times. First one got lost along the way somewhere, second one got eaten by the dog along with my first IFYOG and my mini discman. Third one is sitting safely in the bookshelf.

Just to clear up the image on the front?
Don't know why they changed the back.

Due to mine being stolen so many times i only had the new artwork one but my bf tracked me down a copy of the older one :)

Another CD me and a few friends have noticed goes missing is the first P.U.S.A cd.
I would be on my third copy if i didn't download it instead.

would like the second version - which is the one with the whiter pic on the back, because i really really like that photo - but i've had to make do with a vinyl instead!! :P

I never realised that peoples CD's went missing/got stoled so much. I'm still on number 1 S/T and i hope it stays that way. I hate re-buying CD's.

*also still on #1*
I'd be devastated if any of my CDs were stolen :| I never lend them out except to my best of friends. Even still, I never lend a CD until I've played it so much I'm sure I'll be able to survive without it until I get it back.

I was raised in a very non-musical family, so I've only started acquiring CDs in the last few years since I'va had money to spend (I had copied music for ages before this, though). Hence I have just one copy of Self Titled - bought in the double pack with Roll On, when I went on my quest to catch up on years of, er, not having them.

Yeah, I'm exactly the same. Over the last 4 years I've had to play catch up big time, buying all the CDs of bands I loved growing up. Having money now rocks.

multiple copies of the same album... kinda sucks.
I only have the one of the S/T, the cd is fine but the case is all cracked and fubar though (which I can always replace, but)

I do, for one. On the stereo in the pool room (yes, we have one, but without the trophies :p), in the car, and in my discman on the way to uni.
i still use cds so i can put them on when the family's out :D

I do too, I love CD art and the solid possession you can hold in your hand, I'd prefer that over a computer file!

I'm on my second Self Titled. I still have my first one...but it doesn't play coz i've used it too much. It doesn't have scratches, it just doesn't play properly now.
The Artwork thing: The version with the darker front cover, and Scotty's argyle vest as the background on the back is the FIRST pressing. I wouldn't say it's rare, but you obviously can't buy it new anywhere. I think when the album went mental and they had to do another pressing they just spunked the artwork up a little.

I'm on my first. I'm a bit overprotective of it, I lock it up in a hardcase suitcase thing that is meant for power tools and stash it under my bed. Can't be too careful with my TLE collection...
