Dear TLE,
Me and my mates have been your true fans for several years now, but since living in Europe haven't got a chance to see you yet. It is true that you have multiple shows in the UK, but we were frankly devastated to see that you are not planning to come to continental Europe (again) this year. It appears that the last time you've been to Germany, France, Holland etc was in 2001. Is there any special reason you're not coming back down here? Was that experience a bad one, for I havent heard any comments on it?
It's somewhat annoying to see all these poser bands shows getting sold out and great musicians like you not coming around for such a long while :(
Really hoping you will consider another European tour!
Cheers,
Marty
I totally agree, Marty!! :)
Yet I'm sure they'll come our way sooner or later!!! ;)

Hi guys, you just need to understand thet this is not band choosing which country they want to visit for gigs. TLE don't go to Europe because nobody who can arrange their gig don't invite them. Not because anybody wants, just because anybody can't offer to the TLE all that they need for visiting your country.
For example - TLE don't visiting Ukraine or Russia because people who can organized their gig can't arranged tour for them.5-6 gigs around our country. They can do any one local gig. But this is very expencive to invite TLE for just one gig! And don't forget - organizators and the band want to get a money for their work and it's normal!
So you just need to find vay for visiting another countries where TLE will be, and wait when your country or town can also made it real.
Hey, I perfectly know how things work... of course it's not their choice! Nobody did say that.
Yet I'm sure that sooner or later the organizators will be able to arrange a tour in Europe. Here they aren't as famous as they are in Australia, but they've got fans and I'm sure it's not impossible to arrange a tour here.
Now they're concentrating on the US and Japan, which is great, and maybe next year it'll be our turn, who knows?
I just think positively. :)

TLE are famous in other european countries but not so famous for big tour. We sure for 100% if it will be a TLE gig in Moskow or St. Peterburg (Russia) people from all russian, belorussian and ukrainian towns arrived there, and maybe not only from those countries!
The hope is here!
I would even consider coming from London to see them in St Petersburg!!
Just be patient, once they have a record label in Europe/UK, it will be much easier for them to tour the continent - at least countries like France, Germany, Italy and maybe even as far as the Ukraine!
Marty, where in Europe do you live?

Thanx Jake! We hope so! But our country not convenient to visit because of visas stuff. And another countries don't easy entrance our people to their lands. That is main problem for us, not even money for tickets.

Hey there,
I live in Germany and Estonia mostly :) meaning I'd go to a show anywhere in Scandinavia or Germany/Belgium/Holland.. The UK is just off a tad too much..
Well just a comment on noone inviting The Living End over to Europe.. I'm not quite sure who exactly's deciding this? It's obvious (no offense) that an aussie band is not too well known in Russia or such, but I've seen all sorts of bands in Germany. You know there is a huge rock/punk base in Germany, with venues like LiveMusicHall in Cologne and Columbiahalle in Berlin hosting bands of all kinds and sorts over the last year.. like Panic at the Disco (ihh), Lostprophets coming soon (similar to TLE in not being a "charts" band), Frenzal Rhomb, a punky band from down under a year and a half ago or so..
The list can go on in all ways for a while.. the point being its sometimes a matter of getting someone to organize shows for you, like Paddy Kroetz getting NFAA together for a reunion in LiveMusicHall long after the band disbanded.. so, hope TLE get someone like that to help them, they surely deserve it! :)
Cheers,
Marty

Hi Marty! Nice to meet you. We have some friends from Berlin and another small towns. It will be good to get to Deutchland to see TLE for us, but german visas it's very hard to get for ukrainians.
TLE are well known in Russia among rockabilly and psychobilly fans. Some yars ago when we was in Russia our friends tell us they saw TLE "Pictures in the mirror" vidao on Russian MTV. This is good for people who maybe want to organize their gig. And we don't know all those bands you mentioned. Where they from? Which countries? Maybe it's just not so expencive to invite them to your country?
Lostprophets are from Wales, and are currently in the charts (or recently were) here in the UK. Of course, coming over from UK is quite different to Australia!! P!ATD have had a huge hit first album world-wide, and can easily warrant a world tour, obviously including an extensive Europe-leg.
Yes the TLE boys have a following in Europe, and yes they could probably do a few shows across the continent with a high possibility of sell out dates, but one of the main things they need first is a record deal!! Once an album is released here, a more substantial following is present and there is effective promotion of the album and a tour, then they can probably do a full tour in UK and Europe (headlining). Until that time (and who knows when it will be), we just have to sit back.

I'm going. Flight, hotels and trains will cost me about 550 Euros.
Trains to and from London (and underground train in London) will cost about £6.50 ...then mummy collects me from the station when I get back and brings me home to my own bed. I think this is the only thing good about living near London, minus the running for a last train.

Cool! Are you need to get a UK visa? How much it costs for you? In which town of Germany you live ?

I don't need a visa. England is in the EU, just like Germany.
I live in Ulm which is in the South.
