I know what will happen, they will announce it and then say stay tuned for details on the video and single details, then we'll have to wait another 2 weeks..then we'll get a release date and it will be another 2 weeks after that... So I have a feeling it will be a little way off before we get something out of it, although the video should come first...

yeh, in my impatience for a new single, and my growing weariness of White Noise, i sorta forgot that this might be the case.

There isn't much point putting new stuff in the online store while they're on tour - I don't reckon they'll have time to send it out, plus they don't want to sell out of anything before the shows are done.

Pretty sure I was talking about Wake Up in my example, and as Mel said - NLF was the fourth single from SOE - and likely an unexpected one, so they probably had no completed songs left to use as b-sides. If you want to get into it - LLTW had two new TLE songs (Apeface and Flood The Sky (which was petitioned for here at the boards)) and a cover, and it was the third single.

They have to churn them out if they want to start another string of 10 years in the hottest 100! haha... Also, I guess the consolation with only having NF is that we are getting the easybeats cover too, which makes up for the random 'cover' on the singles...

I wonder how hard it is to mix and master up a demo that's already done, or part mixed. I know when I record it can take a little amount of time or a lot depending on quality. my problem with new frontier starts around the space oddity style bridge and then i just think its a bit too slow in its rising action. The verse an chorus are good but it defiantly loses me after the bridge, which is surprising i usually like everything.

Hmm, I don't mind that bridge; mainly because, the song just couldn't maintain that same up tempo beat the whole way through, so slowing things down works well there.
Admittedly, it does take a while to get back up to the opening pace....but that's just the building of suspense before the final climax I spose.
