The Canberra gig was the best thing I've ever seen. I was front and centre the entire show, the support acts weren't as shite as the SOE tour, I caught Cheney's plectrum and SCOTT OWEN WAS WEARING MY BLINDFOLD DURING TAINTED LOVE!

For me it was one of the most important gigs I've ever been to, so I would appreciate and love you all forever if everyone who has such material could post it on this thread. Anything at all you have; videos, pictures, audio. ANYTHING, PLEASE! I REALLY REALLY WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOMETHING TO LOOK AT TO REMIND ME OF HOW JIVIN' IT WAS!

You get the point, but please, don't delete this thread.

there's a lot of info about the Canberra gig in this thread:

http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=274

people will most likely post there so if you want to check it - that's probably your best option Billyasd!

also - welcome to the forums

There's already a Canberra Gig thread, conveniently at the very top of the page. I havn't read it but you have a better chance of finding photos/videos in there.

Yeah, I've been on the forum a while, just haven't had much to post about 'til now.

Jivin' is THE word.

I've checked that thread out, and it seems it's just a place where people organise to hang out with The Living End after the show.

The entire show (including support acts) I was in the very front, on the barrier, dead centre of Scott and Chris. DID YOU GET ANY SHOTS OF SCOTT WEARING THE BLINDFOLD? THAT WAS MY BLINDFOLD!

i took earplugs to the gig so i didn't damage my ears, why did you take a blindfold?

hey - if i was in the same situation - i wouldn't stop saying it... :p

i was just commenting on your self restraint! :D

The blindfold? Just on the off chance that Scott would wear it during Tainted Love. Nahh, I thought I'd get sleepy in between bands, and I did, and I think I fell asleep for a couple of minutes between Red Riders and End Of Fashion.

Heh, restraint.

i spent the afternoon on and off talking to the red riders and the guitarist from end of fashion, they're cool guys

Red Riders were and awesome performing band, they know how to Jive/Dance and their music sort of reminded me of The Strokes and a bit of Franz Ferdinand. Shame about not being able to hear End Of Fashion's lead guitarists guitar.

did i mention that i went to uni with half of the guys from the Red Riders Kev? :p ;)

Adrian and Tom are sweeties (one of the guitarists and the drummer respectively) - Alex was cool (the other main singer) and the other guy that was in the band was cute so i didn't trust myself talking to him *giggles*

Shame about not being able to hear End Of Fashion's lead guitarists guitar.

he said in one song one of his pedals cut out, he wasn't too happy about it

Could've just gotten rid of that pedal and plugged straight into the next one, wouldv'e meant I COULD HAVE HEARD HIM!
