Does anyone have any B sides, mainly the new ones from the singles, and jingle bell rock, and other things. Thanks

*M!

all b-sides that are commercially available are not up for swap on the board - it's just not on!

you wouldn't break into their houses and steal their stuff... don't steal their music either

there's probably info about this in the FAQ section or something anyway...

Jingle Bell Rock isn't a BSide. It was performed Live at the Concert For Troops.

People have it, it shouldn't be too hard to track down. I got it off a p2p program years ago.

Jingle Bell Rock was released via TLE's website a while back now.

I remember getting it from there and also seeing it when I went through the archives the other day.

Really?

Wow...they should release things like that again. They must have a whole room full of sounddesk recordings.

Any idea if there is a link floating around? Or, if it was intended to be freely available, reckon it could go on 23rd Precinct?

Really Hey?

Hmm...

15 Singles

SS/POS <-- All That Had Was just Prisoner On The Inside. Strange/Misspent Youth Were Already Released Before Then
STD <--Lone Ranger, Mr Buisinessman
POS[UK] <--It had Mr Buisinessman and Sleep On It, Both were previously Released
ATD <-- Tainted Love, Witchdoctor
Trapped <-- Living in Sin, Witch Doctor. (Both Previously Released
WER <--West End Riot Had A couple of live tracks. I wouldn't really count them as actual B-Sides. Maybe.
PITM <--The Man With No Name, There is no Radio
RO <-- It had a bunch: Homestead ,I've Just Seen A Face, Sunday Bloody Sunday, The Man With No Name
DM <--I Get A Kick Out Of You
OSTTO: Blinded, Fond Farewell
WGSU: Just Too Bad, No Return, The Avenue
TM: What Would You Do? (Acoustic), No Reaction, Who's Gonna Save Us? (Acoustic)
WOYR: Wrong Side Of The Tracks
WU: Girls Talk, Don't Turn Away
LLTW: Apeface, Blue Moon of Kentucky, Flood the Sky
NLF: Now That Only had a bunch of live tracks. Probly because the boys were on tour.

Now, putting all of them into one CD is impossible. They are gonna have to make a freakin box set.

*M!
10-20-2006, 10:07 AM
they totally SHOULD put it into a boxed set along with all the demos that they've recorded over the years that were >| |< this far away from making it onto an actual CD release!

*droolz at idea*

and they know that there'd be a whole heap of us that'd lap it up!

as for finding second hand copies of singles - i am on the look out but i don't actually get into CD shops much anymore :( i do have some good online resources... (occasionally good anyway...)

*M!
10-20-2006, 11:09 AM

:)

i'd buy two cause i love mini things... (well some anyway :O)

It was intended to be freely available. I still remember when that was on the home page - it was a nice treat. I don't still have the audio, but i have the vids from the telly. (really shite quality - bah)

Maybe... Also They Should Put "Do What I Do" in the box sets. I Have no Idea why they took it off.

It was because Chris hates it. Worst song he's ever written he reckons.

I like it.

as for Jingle Bell Rock, the link was only up for about a week, then the file was deleted from the server.

I have the video of this gig still. Though its in mono because we had a mono (and still have) a mono vcr.

It's live, so it will probably go on there sometime anyway, along with the rest of that set.

Really. I read this from wikipedia: The very first editions of Hellbound feature a ninth bonus track, "Do What I Do". Contrary to popular belief, Chris does not hate the song, but it was taken off the CD for later pressings.

So It's true what they say. Wikipedia is a book of lies. Or maybe you heard wrong.

Colezy
10-22-2006, 12:55 PM
I'm not 100% sure, so someone can tell me if I'm wrong, but I think it was more a case of it being the least liked song on the EP, not that Chris hated it. I can't remember why it had to be taken off though.

Evil Chris
10-22-2006, 01:15 PM
They did say "contrary to popular belief"

Colezy
10-22-2006, 01:29 PM
Ah crap. I read your other post above mine and remembered the "contrary to popular belief" part and then re-read Kev's post and then got muddled up and repeated pretty much what you said about wikipedia! Ooops!
Sorry :p

Aaron
10-22-2006, 01:47 PM
Unless the article quotes sources, it means nothing. Wikipedia is full of 'weasel words' - where people say vacuous things like 'contrary to popular opinion' without providing evidence for such statements.

He was asked about that a few years ago. Everyone thinks it's his least favourite song because on his questionaire on the site a while ago he had it listed under least favourite TLE song. However when he was asked about this he said that it wasn't necessarily his least favourite song, but he was just asked to pick one, so he chose that knowing that it had been dropped off the EP.

I dare say he doesn't really have a least favourite song, or if he does it's one we'll never ever hear...I'd say each TLE song ever released he is proud of in some way, or they wouldn't have been released...

Evil Chris
10-22-2006, 05:48 PM
True. Unless he tradgicly dies and all the future living end albums will purely be on unreleased recordings. 2pac made like 10 albums of just unreleased crap. He must have been really hard working. And you know how hard a rap song is to write. It'd take me 10 years to write an album.

Bitches and hoes and treadin on toes.

Yo motherfucker pass the glock and we'll hop in the lo lo, cruisin round the block.

There, i just wrote a song. It's not that hard.

Evil Chris
10-23-2006, 12:57 AM
yeah but you have to make it sound good and come up with like a million more, that makes one song, and each rap album has about 20 songs so that'd be hard.

Well we all know what our Recording Artists Do to write songs. Smoke Weed, Take Drugs Ect. They Do it for "inspiration".

It'd sure be a lot easier for me, being in the US, being able to download b-sides, but even if I could, I wouldn't feel right because I love the band too much. So, I buy what I can afford, which means my b-side collection really sucks. The Tabloid Magazine single is 40.00$ US on Amazon! Most are 12.00-25.00$ US.

Ok... on my itunes I currently have 14 demos...

Can you imagine how many demos TLE must have all up! Thousands! I reckon they should release a massive box set of them all. That would be awesome.

Hellbound never had a second disc. (Except for the later US and Japanese releases where it was coupled with It's For Your Own Good). I'd say Sam is correct and they're just chucking in a disc from elsewhere.
