Took advantage of the good weather on Thursday and did some long exposures outside.

This particular photo has an exposure time of roughly 1.5hours. I was aiming for a 2+hour exposure, but it started getting pretty windy and would have shifted the camera slightly, So I packed up for the night. I wanted to get a complete circle, but the lens I was using (50mm) wasn't wide enough and I had left my other lenses at my brothers, so i had to make do with what I had.

I'm entering a few astrophotographs into my local art show. I've got a contact through my local astronomical society that is willing to lend me a "GoTo" scope so I can track deep space objects. So I'm hoping to get a really good photo of some distant planet / star system / galaxy for one entry and a couple of different star trails. But I've got to get cracking on them (Star Trails), because the ones I have I don't think are too crash hot. I want some background action in them.

I've lost my camera bag with all my Lenses, Filters, Chargers and memory cards. I have the standard kit lens on the camera at the moment, but the others are all missing.

I've turned the house upside down looking for it, the shed, the storage shed, my car, parents car, brothers house and even checked with the neighbours. I still can't find it. I've rang my former place of work and asked them, but they said they haven't seen anything. I've also lost my iPod Classic.

I think it was at home. I've been taking photos of the night sky, but I always left my bag inside. I've got my camera, but no bag or lenses which is shitting me. I'm going to be really pissed orf if I go into my old work place and see it sitting on a shelf in the office or something like that.

Turns out that it was at my old work. I rang them and asked the other day, but they said no. Was having lunch down the road from there and ran into one of the girls that works there now and she said that they had found it whist cleaning up. So I now have it back! Photos, here I come!

Not really, but the company takes a huge cut of profits from the t-shirts/bracelets/merch (not unlike other charities). The video was pretty misleading given that this all happened a while ago and Kony is now based in another country (but how convenient, they could make another video to update us...)

The ICC only just delivered their first ever verdict. They'd be better off getting Ugandan/African courts to deal with him, it'd be faster and more effective. I'm not entirely sure how a bunch of white people knowing who he is is going to help though.
