where they on at all? i saw when james said "there are the livinmg end with some beer" or sumifn. but that was about maybe 2.5seconds. did they have an interview?

I am pleased to see that most of the whinging about wolfmother has settled down a fair bit...I might not like them that much (along with a fair few other people on here) but i say congrat's to em. TLE boys did well to be nominated considering the competition in the music industry these days.I must admit i was disappointed when they didn't win an ARIA but still that shouldn't take anything away from the Bands/Singers that won ARIA's. At least they showed footage of TLE in the crowd at their table....lots of bands didnt get seen, oh and not to forget Black Cat being played tons....and i think someone mentioned Til The End, I can't remember hearing Til The End though, i'll have to check later.
On another note....Midnight Oil Bed's Are Burnin' vid clip....Maybe a bit of stealing done by The Living End for the West End Riot clip...Playing their instruments in the vehicle, drummer only havin the snare and the hi-hat(i think)....oh well :o :D

coz it's not like that's EVER been done before EVER!!! :p
although, One Step Behind is similar to Power and the Passion... the horn parts are very very similar indeed. I should work OSB out one day. :p

Do you mean something along the lines of that it was going to be a long way to the top for TLE...and that midnight oil are at the top and that they (TLE) were striving for the top and yeah...I can't explain what I mean! :p

Yeah, that was Emma in the background.
It was frustrating - due to daylight saving, James kept dropping hints who won what - we were an hour behind obviously so it was all over an hour before me :p but fuck it was awesome!!
Silverchair's performance was amazing - I didn't expect them to play a song by the Oils (having said that, I don't know what I expected them to play :p) but I was very impressed!!
Bernard Fanning was awesome - he's a cutie haha and how good was it with Claire Bowditch + Kasey Chambers? Don't like the latter but I lived with it :p

To anyone who went to the Arias, did you happen to catch Axle's apparent wardrobe malfunction? XD
I read something in the paper saying that while he was onstage presenting an award, he flashed the crowd while trying to "impress" Johnny Knoxville. It was edited out but something like 10 000 people in the crowd saw it. He's been fired from Video Hits for doing so.
He deserves to be sacked. Way to embarass Aussies. We're not all tools like him.
