The Hit List had been running something, presumably all this week. i was listening to it at work tonight, and they said tonight was the last night. you had to text something and you went in the draw. they announced the winner before the end of the show tonight. So yeah, would have been nice if the TLE camp had mentioned this one too. (haha, I only got one entry in before it closed :p )

on an even more disappointing note, there was a second competition for this same prize (and even though it only finished tonight TLE HQ didn't bother to mention it in their email...). The Hit List had been running something, presumably all this week. i was listening to it at work tonight, and they said tonight was the last night. you had to text something and you went in the draw. they announced the winner before the end of the show tonight. So yeah, would have been nice if the TLE camp had mentioned this one too. (haha, I only got one entry in before it closed :p )

It's on in about an hour (Australia wide, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane have to adjust to the times) So its on at 3:30 in WA, 6:00 in SA and 5:30 in QLD.

Stupid foxtel, part of it makes me happy because of the fact its all on at the same time, part of it makes me mad because we have to adjust to the times the commercial gives us.

AND I AM BACK!!

Ok let's start with Saturday. I woke up at 3:45, damn morning flights, then the plane left at 6:45 then I got there at 8:15, where a Caprice and a driver was waiting for my mum, my friend and I (under 18 so yeah......). We dropped off our stuff at the hotel, then 10 minutes later we went to the MTV offices where we waited for AGES to go to Acer Arena, but I met the Sam Sparro and the Climi winners. The video gear kept on screwing up, but over there we filmed the profile and the short interview when it worked, and ahh they didn't do hair/makeup. Got into a Tarago at around 1 so we could see Acer Arena, we saw the red carpet set up, wow that was fun haha. The stage was up, and we all had rehearsals with the host and the friends filled in as the band. It was fun as, we just kept on mucking around for the rehearsals, but dammit it was too hot. We then left the place at 6, and in the car we saw Hamish and Andy walking around the park, dammit that was cool. Got back to the hotel then went out with my family to go around Darling Harbour.
Sunday. Woohoo. My friend and I woke up at 6:15, and it took us about 45 minutes to find Hungry Jacks for breakfast haha. The van left at 9:30 and we got there at about 10:00, where we just waited around even longer than yesterday, oh well. throughout the day though, we had to film us "training", where we did the whole 8-Mile-stand-in-front-of-the-mirror, I had to fake puke, did the crane stance thingo on poles, tried to grab flies with chopsticks then finally the shock game thingy. We had one last rehearsal, twas funny. We stood backstage fomr there, just waiting and waiting etc. where it was hotter than the day before, we all went through like 4 bottles of water. The red carpet then started, we watched the people walk through and saw some of the interviews. TLE then came by limo, and they were busy doing other interviews at the start of the carpet. That's when I finally started to be worried/scared, but oh well. They got to the MTV area, where they got briefed and everything, then I got to talk to them for a little bit. We went tonto the stage, had a quick chat and waited for eveything, when Pink was about 4 meters behind me, that was a cool moment lol. The quiz then started, just watch it haha. I wasn't as nervous as I though it would be, but still wow. After all that, they had a one question interview with the band and I, where I made an ass of myself. They'll post that up on the site soon lol. We waited for the MTV red carpet show to finish, then we went inside Acer Arena. The awards started and shiz, TLE played White Noise, I was screaming the hell outta that song. The rest of the show happened, but the Climi awards were funny. The first two awards were all good, then the more she won, the more the crowd went "wha...". The shows by all the bands were actually good except for Climi, and I'm sorry if you hate me for hating her haha. The thingo finished, then we went onto the bus to head back to the h0otel. Dammit I wanted to go to the afterparty. Oh well.

Umm thing they said that the original idea was that they were gonna give us a Toyota Yaris, but it didn't go through or something, so they made the artists donate something, hence the megaphone. Dammit I wanted the car, but the signed megaphone..............DAMN!!!
