What are your thoughts?

No Tommy Lee, due to playing with Motley Crue somewhere else in the world.

Now James Hetfield or whatever his name is (the bass player) is out due to wrecking his shoulder.

So Australia is going to get Gilby Clarke and the singer and a different bass player and Drummer.

Sounds like a shit concert if you ask me. The 2 main players are out, so the tour is still going ahead? Why?

It would almost be like going to see the Foo Fighters without Dave and Taylor. Given that Nate and Chris are talented and all. Its just not worth it.

Cos they're trying to squeeze whatever money they can get out of the whole thing as apposed to not having a tour at all. Clearly a marketting ploy.

The bass player is Jason Newstead.

I'd heard about Jason, but Tommy too? Whoa. Why bother? I get the impression they're not too concerned with how Australia recieves them.

I'm not interested. Lukas never did it for me. I'd might listen to the album, but I couldn't sit through a whole concert of him singing. I really don't think he's that talented.

The only appeal that concert has for me is the fact that Juke Kartel will be playing support. Tempted, but I can't see the point of paying just to see the support act. If they were playing with Nickelback again, sure, worth it. But nah. I'll wait until they're touring on their own.

The bass player is Jason Newstead.

Thats the guy. I knew he was in metallica at some stage.

The Tommy Lee thing was in yesterdays papers.

Oh and tickets are apparently $110 each.

Holey crap :| $110? For half a band? Well, that's certainly ambitious.

They haven't exactly been doing much for their credibility since the Rockstar show finished. First the law suit they lost regarding their name, then kicking the houseband off the tour for financial reasons after announcing on the show they'd be there, as well as kicking Storm and Magni off... and now this. Ah, it makes me laugh. Serves them right for picking that goth oompa loompa.

Sorry. $120 for Melbourne
Sydney $110.50

I heard that the House Band (the only reason I watched the show) isn't opening anymore and two of the contestants (Magni and Storm) are off too. Seems so pointless, the whole Supernova thing.

i cant stand lukas...they shouldve chosen toby!!! i think that tommy lee & jason newstead are coming to aus to play next year but they are coming out next month for a promo tour (they're gonna be at the melbourne cup) & they're not gonna be there then. i THINK they'll be here for the actual shows...not that i'll be going.

I was glad they didn't pick Toby, I really wanted to see Toby back with Juke Kartel. They're such a great group of guys and I couldn't imagine them with a different lead singer.
