i know people who had undercuts - they worked well on their heads!

i used to want one but i have really thick hair and it might've made it go curly...

From my sisters livejournal about her catching a couple giving oral sex in the teenagers fitting room of myer where she works:

I watched as the girl just grabbed something random off a rack and walked into the fitting rooms, and the guy hung around the racks alittle bit all nervous like and kept looking at the counter before going into the fitting room again..

They looked seedy as fuck so about 2 minutes after he went in i went in aswell.

Keep in mind there were quite a lot of 15 year old girls trying clothes on, and i couldnt figure out which room the two had gone into, but as the doors are a little bit seethrough i could make out two figures in the very very first room closet to the entrance to get in there. I peaked under the door...

Only to see the girl on her knees with her head bobbing, and the guy standing straight up with his legs apart So i went bright red in the face and literally yelled at julia to come here straight away. She peaked under and cracked up laughing and so Maria our team leader came over, and when she peaked under, The guy was on his knees, and the girl was squating near the floor. and you could hear noises...

We called security, because clearing giving eachother oral sex in a teenage g irls fitting room is completely fucking wrong. And she peaked under and told htem that guys arent allowed in there and that they have to get out, which resulted in them jumping up straight away the girl saying "yeah i'm just getting changed" and then pissbolting out of the store.

Thats not a sight i ever want to see at work again.....

And they werent teenagers they were like late 20s early 30s maybe:( :( and they obviously came in with the pure intention of doing that.

Then Di the security guard said that on thursday night one of the male managers called her saying "can you please go into the mothers room and turn on the light", so she went up to the mothers and babies changing room and turned on the light, and in the corner of the room was a guy sitting in a chair with a lady laying on his lap with his hand up her skirt. Di told them that he has to get out becuase its for mothers and babies only, which he promptly replied to by saying "she is my baby" to what Di said "no for changing babies nappies, not for making babies".

Ick.

I've never given or recieved such, however someone on an Adelaide based forum i used to go to posted up a photograph of a bum giving another bum head in the parklands of Adelaide. Not only was i shocked that someone had stopped to take a photo of the act. Not only was i shocked that they had posted it on an internet forum. But i also couldn't believe this sort of thing happened in Adelaide. I hadn't even seen a full on Prozzie until Kim took me for a tour of St Kilda in Melbs.

Haha! I'm scared of homeless people, but I know it's not their fault or anything.
The other day, in town, I saw this homeless guy yelling and swearing across the road, I looked and there was no one. It was funny though coz me and my friend had just bought these bottles (for 2 year olds) and we were talking to a shop keeper about how mental he is while drinking our lemonade.

09-13-2006, 02:05 PM
You know how homeless people sell the magazine the big issue? I nearly bought one last week cause as i walked past the guy goes "Buy the big issue and stop domestic violence.... if i don't sell them all my gf will beat me!"

*M!
09-13-2006, 02:08 PM
oh wow - that's spectacular!

last time i nearly bought the big issue was when i was doing an assignment for uni and i wanted to take a picture of me standing with the guy that was selling them...

i didn't buy it though 'cause he wouldn't pose! :(

i saw a really interesting docco on homeless people specifically based around selling the big issue... very interesting!

also - drinking from baby bottles is fun!

*M!

Jessii
09-13-2006, 02:14 PM
Yeah i've never bought it before but the whole "buy big issue and stop domestic violence... if i don't sell them all my gf will beat me" thing showed that he had a sense of humor!

*M!
09-13-2006, 02:17 PM
yeah - i found that pretty entertaining when i read your post!

it'd be horrible to be down on your luck like that... but the docco showed how the whole Big Issue thing worked and how it helped them get money for food and the like

i'm glad that particular guy had a sense of humor - it'd be important to keep it in any curcumstance - perhaps harder to find things funny in that situation though...

Yeah, its pretty ''interesting''

This is actually my uni work placement. So I shall attempt to find a paying job in 4.5 weeks. I'm going to start applying for jobs soon. I hate selection criteria. Send it to hell!

I'm interested in moving out of Brisbane for a while. Except I don't really have any money at the moment to do so. I want to move to Melbourne although its more financially viable for me to move to Sydney/Wollongong (relatives to mooch off until I find a job)

i must admit - at the moment i'm one of the few who doesn't fully understand what like social work but not means... but yeah... thanks for the reply Kylie - it sounds like a pretty interesting course to be doing

there's probably some really unique social interaction issues that you get to cover or that you've come across whilst doing the course...

I'm about 10-15 minutes out of the city - we're actually quite "central" to the outskirts of Cairns, if that makes sense. We can get most everywhere within 10-15 minutes.

*M!
09-13-2006, 05:29 PM
haha - awesome - i understand central outskirts - that is how i'd classify where i live (if i were clever enough to think of it before you - now i'm just appropriating it - hope you don't mind)

i know people that live about an hour out of town (of MY town - not yours) that's getting a bit far...

but Caity - you're underestimating my lung capacity and my sheer volume!

i still wanna come up to Cairns though - i think my dad loved it when we were up there too - so if we were to go and have a holiday we'd probably head north!

In other news, my mum's little sister died overnight. She had a heart attack in her sleep.
Perhaps it sounds insensitive, but ... I don't feel sad. We (our family) hadn't talked to her for ten years, except when my grandmother died (some of you might remember me mentioning that a few years back?) and other family emergencies like that. My mum's more or less upset that it's so easy/quick to die - she went to bed and didn't wake up.
It's been a shit week, hey?

Explain about nursing home?

The Dying Start
09-14-2006, 12:14 AM
Typical nursing home, just didn't look after him, and because every nursing home has a waiting list we couldn't just pull him out, we had to wait til we could put him somewhere else. So they didn't look after him or feed him properly or dress his wounds properly or anything, and he ended up just dying of a broken heart. His heart just stopped....when his doctor said he had one of the strongest hearts for a man his age, and we have no heart problems in our family.

Speaks volumes about the state of Australia's aged care facilities...and it's the same with mental health facilities.

Jessii
09-14-2006, 12:18 AM
I've read about places that like, a person i know spent months looking for the right home for her aunty and it still happened. Sorry about your grandfather!

And about mental health facilities, i've been in a pysch hospital a few times, and on 2 seperate occasions they gave me the wrong meds and i spent the night throwing up/seizuring.

Aged care sucks the big ones, that's for sure. My mum is an aged care nurse so I hear all kinds of stories and all. She's good at what she does, except alot of things never get done or are late getting done because they're extremely understaffed. And that'ss not just at her work, it's all over the freaking country.
Yeah, it just sucks.

My uncle had a sudden unexpected heart attack and died when he was 50. They think it was mostly stress-induced (he'd been having a stressful time at work apparently).

Losing people suddenly like that is just fucked up. If they've been sick and you know they're gonna go, it's so much easier to deal with. But phonecalls in the middle of the night telling you someone's dead.... I've had too many of them in my life (i.e. two).

I'm currently working behind the desk at the library i work at rather then just shelving. Sometimes i'm really nervous cause i worry so much of what people think about me. A fellow worker said "you know you can actually talk to the people they won't bite."
So a guy comes up with a Stephen King novel Carrie and like just slams it on the counter and i go "Ohhh Carrie i really like this book" and he just glares at me and starts yelling about how someone just told him to put his bag in a locker and how we are all judging him. So i explained that the lockers are so your stuff doesn't get stolen not because we think you are going to steal stuff, because all the books are security tagged anyway.
He continued to yell at it and i admit i was immature and didn't scan his books right so when he walked out the door all the alarms went off.

I am aware that it was lame but he was yelling at me when i didn't tell him to put his bag away!

*M!
09-15-2006, 12:14 PM
haha - Jessii, i would've done the same thing to make the alarms go off probably... just to give him a bit of a shake-up...

i mean - yeah - ok he was annoyed but you were just being pleasant and he tried to bite your head up...

betcha the alarms freaked him out a little :p

Sorry if this is old, but I'm bored:
Everyone knows that if you are going to operate a business in today's world you need a domain name. It is advisable to look at the domain name selected as others see it and not just as you think it looks. Failure to do this may result in situations such as the following legitimate companies who deal in everyday humdrum products and services but clearly didn't give their domain names enough consideration.

1. A site called 'Who Represents' where you can find the name of the agent that represents a celebrity. Their domain name is www.whorepresents.com <http://www.whorepresents.com/>

2. Experts Exchange, a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at www.expertsexchange.com <http://www.expertsexchange.com/>

3. Looking for a pen? Look no further than Pen Island at www.penisland.net <http://www.penisland.net/>

4. Need a therapist? Try Therapist Finder at www.therapistfinder.com <http://www.therapistfinder.com/>

5. Then of course, there's the Italian Power Generator company: www.powergenitalia.com <http://www.powergenitalia.com/>

6. And now, we have the Mole Station Native Nursery, based in New South Wales: www.molestationnursery.com <http://www.molestationnursery.com/>

7. If you're looking for computer software, there's always www.ipanywhere.com <http://www.ipanywhere.com/>

8. Welcome to the First Cumming Methodist Church. Their website is www.cummingfirst.com <http://www.cummingfirst.com/>

9. Then, of course, there are these brainless art designers, and their wacky website: www.speedofart.com <http://www.speedofart.com/>

10. Want to holiday in Lake Tahoe? Try their brochure website at www.gotahoe.com <http://www.gotahoe.com/>

Bringing back the lizard/snake stuff, we once had a blue-tongued lizard in our compost heap, that was pretty cool. My dad made me hold it so he could take a picture and it tried to snap at me. No snakes, unless we went into the bush. Even then, I've probably seen one or two ever.

Made heaps of new friends and got treated to a free massage by a qualified massuse. Somehow finding my way home just in time to miss the family dinner, then have the family watch me make a knob out of myself by aiming the fork into my cheek.

passing out at 9pm. Awesome.

God luck.

I once entered a peopm into an online competition so i could 'win' a free iPod. I got all this stuff sent to my house saying that it was going to be printed in this coffee table edition book and i would have a page all to myself ane everything. I don't know if it's real but if anyone sees a poem in a bookk with my name on it - tell me.

Pimms and lemonade is a very British summer drink - they usually serve jugs of it in pubs all summer..it's very refreshing. I think it's some sort of gin thing..it's darkish red and has a strange taste. I'm crap at explaining. All I know is that it tastes good. But top tip...hangovers at school aren't so much fun!!
