glenn, surely this is extremely unnecessary.
Bad things about these photos.
1. the week before, i cut my fringe, this was before i learnt how to cut my fringe in a proper manner
2. I didn't wash or brush my hair for that whole week long trip, and i probably didn't shower.
3. I Look really young in the first picture and it makes think that i've aged terribly.
4. contrasting horizontal stripes. Bad move!
5. adelame!
6. I have no idea who the people in the back of the last photo are, the beard guy and the green shirt person.
jawn looks really cute in the last photo. Not a bad thing but...aww!
7. Now that I look back on it, those signs were really fucking lame. That wasn't the last time i utilised signs either.

Aaron
09-28-2007, 11:48 PM
Jimmy, you might be surprised to find that REAL cooking is knowing how to make food, not just following instructions. It's like the difference between being able to jam on stage in a band or just reading sheet music. But yeah, he does have several recipe books for those who like to play along at home. I have one as a PDF. Want a copy? :p
It would have been nice if they taught us that in home ec rather than just giving us recipes. After a couple of years of it I still don't have a clue how to make anything off the top of my head other than pasta with a tomato based sauce
I love cooking. I'll start of with some simple plain idea and as I browse the fridge/pantry if I feel like putting something in, I will. I dont ever measure anything either, I will just pour shit in untill it looks like there is enough in. lastly I wont taste it untill its finished cos that ruins it if you do it during cooking because you might think there is too much or not enough of something and then you totally ruin it by adding more stuff to even it out. food always tastes the best if its random, and you do not plan it at all.

Just got back from the coast and it really hated me the whole time.
Day 1 - Idiot brother threw a camera at me, and not just a normal camera, a really big motherfucker of a camera
Day 2 - Went surfing and messed up my bad knee. OH YAY.
Day 3 - Was just standing in the water minding my own business and some dickhead surfer RAN INTO MY FUCKING HEAD. And now it's all cut and swollen and I got a concussion.
Day 4 - I don't even know how I managed to do it but I fell down the stairs and messed my knee up even more.

Powderfinger SUCKED.
Their only good song was Baby I've Got You On My Mind or whatever its called. The local guys weren't too bad and Silverchair were pretty good, although not as good as MS Fest earlier in the year :)
The crowd sucked more wang than Powderfinger though.

Horribly distasteful story involving Gloria Jean's.
In our main shopping centre, on the top level is a Gloria Jean's and just near it is a big circly whole where you can see right down to the floor of the bottom level. It's a pretty shitty description but most places have them, y'know? Anyway not long ago someone committed suicuide from jumping off one of the Gloria Jean's tables and over the edge of the thing (it's a pretty fuckin' big drop, onto marble floors).
Then I was there today and right at the bottom, where it happened, Gloria Jean's have sponsored one of those holiday kid's activity stalls and it's called SPLAT! Entertainment.
Not nice at all!

Cancer isn't cool or fun at all. My mom had breast cancer back when I was in grade 8, and she had to get her left breast removed. I had to take care of her after her chemo treatments, which sucked, because the drugs make you throw up.
She goes for her reconstructive surgery this month though...in about 14 days. Which means...[Glenn may like this] NEW BOOBS.
And in sad news, my dad had to put down two of his cats within' a few days of each other. :( We found out that our oldest one had a heart problem and something else, I can't remember what. And the other one all of a sudden got sick and the vet said he had Pancreatitis. Even if we did do all the tests and everything, he probably would have passed before we got the results back.
Sad week. Ugh.
R.I.P Dee, Mickey and Max. :(

In Melbourne at one pub they decided that if you're not a gay male then you're not allowed in.
I think it was because it was known as a place all the hawt straight girls went after the other pubs around it closed because it was a place they could dance without annoying boys hasseling them. Then, I think the straight boys found out and so they went chasing after them.
I don't really get it though. If you're straight and you've gone to a place thats known to be a gay hangout, then obviously you're pretty tolerant and are going to try not and make trouble.

about not letting people in- im pretty sure thats illegal. we had an acon thing last night at work, it was international lesbian day, and acon had a women-only party in the ballroom, and they kicked up a stink because i was the only girl working and i finished at ten, so my boss made me work an extra two hours because these crazy dykes didnt want to have to go near any cootie-infested boy. and anyway, i was talking to the organiser at one point and said "i thought it was illegal to not let someone into a place because of their gender/race/sexuality/religion/whatever?" and she gave me a sly look like she knew i was right but didnt want me to make a big deal out of it.
ALSO LAST NIGHT WE HAD THIS CREEPY FAT DUO, I GUESS HUSBAND AND WIFE, AND THEY SET UP A FETISH AREA IN OUR CELLAR AND BEAT THE SHIT OUT OF THIS REALLY HOT CHICK I KNOW. she was keen for it. there was this queue of about four or five people waiting for their turn to get whipped/tied up/beaten/humiliated and then maybe thirty or even forty people just standing around and staring. it was one of the strangest things we've ever had in our pub.
and about the last thing you said, kylie, the pub i work at has a rep for being a gay bar, even though it isnt really, and we still get people who make trouble. though most of the time they are either really cranky queers or just rednecks who got lost and found themselves on the wrong side of the bridge.

and yeah its in anti-discrimination legislation that you can't discriminate against someone due to their race/religion/sexuality/gender/culture.
I think bouncers go against that every week by discriminating against appearance: something you can discriminate against by saying "ohhh I don't like your shoes maaate" or wh
There's even a pub in sydney that seems to get away with discriminating against non-whiteys .
