I fell asleep in Biology today! And someone had to poke me and tell me that class was over to wake me up. :p
ouccchhhh. I think I did some type of violent dreaming last night. and now my back is ouched. My bones are remarkably resillient so I have no idea what the hell I did. Maybe I sleepwalked outside and got ran over by a car.
Apparently many years ago I punched Bill in my sleep.
He reckons I just rolled over with my arm swinging.
Have zero recollection of it, but he had a fat lip the next day.
I'd love to know why we dont just sleeeeeeep.

Carla has full blown conversations in her sleep. It's darn entertaining.
I apparently make incomprehensible sounds. Or maybe its just that its ancient sumerian or proto-indo-european and nobody can understand it.

I've sleep walked before when I was younger. Apparently I was getting carried into bed (fell asleep on the couch) and the next thing you know, I jump out of my step moms arms, ran to the phone and started dialing numbers.
I talk in my sleep too sometimes. I was dreaming about something, I said that word in my sleep and then I woke myself up in the process due to me repeating the word.
I also jump whenever I'm just starting to fall asleep and all of a sudden in this mini dream you slip or fall and then you jump and wake up! Blergh.
^ Can't be arsed fixing that to make sense.
If that's what i'm thinking of, I do that too, and Its called a something or other jerk. Actually, I think most people do.

Today i won tickets to Shine A Light, and the soundtrack of the movie. Funny cause it was addressed to "Jessil maloney"
Yesterday the queensland government sent me a frisbee for a prize. hah.
I can go to the 'todds sound and vision' to find something under $200 sometime! Presuming they actually have something for under that prize. You would assume they'd have some type of inexpensize mp3 player at least. Failing that I can go to a hairdresser. (it turns out you get three choices) or pillow talk.
You can probably get yourself pretty dolled up at a hairdresser for $200.
I havnt really entered anything this week because ive been studying instead.
Jessii
06-11-2008, 05:18 PM
Yeah i've definetly found if i dont enter much.... you don't win.
This past week was suprised at how much i won, but i think it's cause it was the start of new month, so tons of ones had just ended...
My dad is happy, he was saying he tried to buy the soundtrack yesterday but his card wasnt working.

Surely that depends on exactly how you classify a "dream".

Paul finds it incredibly hilarious that anytime someone claps near me, i blink. He loves to embarrass me by telling people this and of course the person will then clap.
Makes me think of a highschool memory in woodwork class where the teacher was hammering a nail and everytime it made the hitting noise i'd blink and he had to point it out to the whole class.
Maybe i can blame it on the epilepsy..

She's doing her pelvic floor excercises. Der.
Why are you up at this hour Kylie?
I'm about to go to work. :(
I had an exam at 8am, it takes at least an hour to get to uni from where I live by bus. Since I have kind of an irrational fear of being late, I left shortly after that post. 6am is an OK hour in summer when everything is bright and cheerful but I hate it in winter! I am not programmed to be awake before the sun is awake.
Anyway, it was really foggy this morning and my fear of being late worked for me, because the fog, in combination with it being early and my eyes not working properly or something, meant I caught the wrong bus. Well, it was still going to the city but it goes the long way. but the numbers are similar. 333 is the one i meant to catch but this bus was the 353! lolz. Stupid eyes. IT WAS OKAY! I still got there early.
okay, I think I just found the stupidest thing in all of the internet...

06-13-2008, 02:18 PM
Hah, I was just looking at post counts. Some things I noticed:
Grumma has the most posts - almost 2000 more than Nicole, if you include both his accounts
1 out of every 13 posts on the entire board is by Grumma
Grumma posts more than the bottom 90% of members combined
The top 1% of contributors (Grumma, Nicole, Glenn, Mel, Chelsea, Cameron, Andre, Kylie, Alina) account for 38% of all posts
3 of the top 11 contributors haven't posted for a year and still have their post-whore status
I am reeeeaaally bored
woahhh.
good statistics!
those not-posting-for-a-year-people are scary. It would be cuhrazy if they did post.
heres one of my own:
51.37% of my posts are in
-this thread
-bought/sold/whatever
-crush thread.
I think this is because i basically use this thread and the whatever thread for the same purpose: as some kind of quasi- twitter.
and the other one because I like hot people.
Aaron
06-13-2008, 02:59 PM
I have some more too:
5 threads (or 0.29%) contain 40% of all posts: 1 (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=24) 2 (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=44) 3 (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=4) 4 (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=37) 5 (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=3)
The top 9 people mentioned above have interesting posting habits. Typically, they seem to have about 55% of their post in those big threads. Cameron has 65%, indicating he is more attached to a couple. Mel has 51%, Nicole 47%, Alina 45%, Andre 35%, and Glenn 27%. Glenn's low 'attachment' percentage indicates he is an all-round posting fiend :p
I'm not going to quantify it now, but interestingly, some of those high-posting members have never (or very rarely) posted in some of those most-popular threads
This forum has a bit of a weird culture. I mean, usually people just post in existing threads (like those big 5!) ones rather than start new ones. I think it would be more interesting if people just started a new thread whenever they had something worthwhile to say. I tried to do it for a while, but I guess it never caught on.

IS SHE IN THE kkk?!>!
Speaking of which, I used to go to the stormfront whitepower forums fairly often (not as a supporter, just to check out human stupidity) but i havnt for a while.
They actually have a LOT of people from Australia there.
There was once this thread about "i only eat ozzzie fooodz....I dont eat kebabs i dont eat pasta i dont eat pizza i dont eat curry i dont eat dim sims etc' It was actually so ridiculous that it had to be someone taking the piss.
THE Government's mission is to build a strong and fair Australia capable of meeting the new challenges of the 21st century.
That means planning for our long-term future.
Planning to meet our long-term domestic challenges.
It also means planning to meet our long-term international challenges.
Australia must above all enhance our regional and global economic competitiveness if we are to secure our future.
Domestically we need to lift our productivity growth.
We need to have the best-trained, best-skilled work force in the world.
We will need world-class infrastructure, including high-speed broadband.
We are committed to policies that will lift work force participation rates – a critical need with an ageing population.
And we are committed to continuing population growth, underpinned by a continuing migration program.
We are committed to taxation reform and business deregulation.
And underpinning all must be a commitment to responsible economic management – injecting every effort to maintain macro-economic stability.
But Australia faces additional regional and global challenges also crucial to our nation’s future – climate change, questions of energy and food security, the rise of China and the rise of India.
And we need a strong system of global and regional relationships and institutions to underpin stability.
We also have to make sure that the open, rules-based system of global trade is maintained and expanded.
It is the system that has underwritten our prosperity, just as it has underwritten the prosperity of the region.
When Australia looks intrinsically to the Asia-Pacific region, we can see significant future challenges.
In the South West Pacific the challenges are great.
Many of the smaller states in the region will need to work hard – and we will work with them – on establishing the foundation for a secure and sustainable future.
Terrorism in South-East Asia will remain a continuing challenge.
And across wider Continental Asia, the rise of India and China represent great economic, environmental, energy policy and security reverberations for the future.
A core challenge for Australia is – how do we best prepare ourselves for the Asia Pacific century – to maximise the opportunities, to minimise the threats and to make our own active contribution to making this Asia-Pacific Century peaceful, prosperous and sustainable for us all.
it goes on but character lengths aren't what they used to be and its not like you'll read it anyway.

I had glandular fever this year, coupled with strep throat at the same time! Not pleasant - really painful to eat and drink. Luckily I was only sick for about a week then was completely back to normal. I know people who were bed ridden for weeks (months?) with it.

I keep checking Eric Bibb's tour dates to see if there's any gaps where he might have plans to come to Australia. He doesn't have any gigs from December-April SO Surely that's enough to time to come to Australia for a while, Eric?
