I think there's an old thread but I can't be bothered finding it.

Anyone observing the religious holiday today that is Bathurst? All 161 laps worth?

Tander had a shocking start, after getting pole yesterday .. but last I checked he was up in 16th after ending up last so he's doing orright.

I'm meant to be paving and shifting dirt, but if this wind keeps up i might be forced to watch some of the race. What a shame.

I've been watching the race since it started.

Man that was shocking what happened with Tander...the race just went from a Could-Be-Exciting-Finish to a Well who in holden we got left??

I'm happy Murph and Richards are going exceptionally well given they had a few mishaps.
Though that might change coz they pit'd early.

Murph is going well, and it's good to see some of the younger drivers getting there - Holdsworth is going to be one to watch in the next few years I reckon.
Poor Tander though, and it's fucked he got the 10 second penalty - not like he advantaged himself by jumping the start!

I'm kinda bummed it wasn't abit more serious, I want the safety car to be brought out to push everyone back together again, make the race a bit more interesting.

Still got over 100 laps to go...alot can happen.

I take my hat off to Tander/Skaife...They've come a long fuckin way from being last at the beginning of the race.

They have done great and it annoys me that the commentators haven't mentioned it - they are so pro-Ford!!

So glad about that safety car, brought everyone back in together a bit more - Tander is doing well, I reckon even a top 5 finish would be orright.

I would love it if Seton won. That would just be hilarious, I've decided. It would right royally screw up the championship table!

If he doesn't fuck up now, he'll finish in the top 3.
Which will be good for his championship points and keep him infront.

Nice move Murph! So at least we got a roaring Lion in the top 2, and if a Ford had to win, I'd take Lowndesy any day. Not a bad race in the end, at least the last few laps were entertaining!

Murphy would have won that if not for Lowndes' dirty move at the beginning of the race.

But Murph/Richards are a good team and it was a fantastic result. Stupid Ford.

First lap, I think it was, and Lowndes went a little wide and then corrected himself but went straight into the side of Murph - he knew Murph was there, they'd been side by side up Mountain Straight.

I really enjoyed todays 6 and a half hour race. Better then last year and I was at bathurst last year!
Whenever Bathurst comes around, I'm not too fussed if Lowndes wins, he's still a fair nice guy.

Makes championship interesting because now Tander has dropped back to 3rd place.

Murph and Jase are super super nice guys, and finally deserve a break, I'm so happy they came 2nd haha

He is! he was late for a race once (this was several years ago), but still took the time to chat with my brother for a minute. what a legend :D
