Anyways, moving on...Grats to the boys for winning Best Rock Album...great to see them get some kind of acknowledgment for all their hard work; was very sad not to see them pick up Album of the year outright...I don't mind the Presets but...to call a dance compilation the best Album over what I'd say is TLE's best album of their career...that aggravates me. Seems time again, the substance and quality of one artist/bands work is overlooked for the sheer popularity factor of anothers.

They tried to spread it around a bit this year which is better, different act for rock, single and album etc. I think the presets were always going to win as the industry had decided they had to give it to another genre for once. pop albums never usually win album cause they are just pop and only last a few months. That chick won't back up well and in 5 years will be nothing, despite an attempted acting career on neighbours and a move to the UK... then she'll try become more contemporary. It's hard to believe how little TLE has won at the arias, I guess they just come up against really strong competition every time they're up but its about time they finally got rewarded so good on them... When the next album with rats comes out they will blow silverchair out of the water! haha

The bootleg on youtube is all that the rest of the world gets and to be honest, i like the sound of the song, even though the qualtiy is shit.

people should just stop talking about Rats as if it's sacred. and just cos a few people have heard it and love it doesn't mean it's good. also it has been said that it is inspired by my other favourite band iron maiden, now if it sounds anything like them (and it might, cos I can definitely hear their influence in a couple of TLE songs on white noise, and also even some of their older songs) then I don't think it would appeal to the usual audience, and even less likely the mainstream radio listening public
