View Full Version : 12"LPs of S/T; Roll On and Modern ARTillery.help!
Hey :)
I've already mentioned my problem in another thread, but anyways:
I really want to have these 3 vinyls, but can't find any good offers on ebay - they're either too expensive (about 70AUD + shipping) or in bad condition.
So,if anyone on here has spare/unwanted anymore 12"LP of S/T, Roll On or MA, and
if it's in near mint/excellent condition then I'm ready to buy it for 55AUD each.
Would appreciate any help and advices.

I don't plan on playing mine (although I AM asking dad for a turntable for Christmas), they're all going to get framed. :p
I'm looking for a Self Titled one too.
Since I got some experience with vinyl sound, it looks like a murder to me - get LP disc glued!:p

If you really want them, Id say they will be more than $35 each.
From memory thats how much TLE HQ once sold them for.
Think ive paid up to about $80 (all depends on how patient you are)

No offence, but I think $35 is a bit stingy. think about it they seem kinda rare these days and to be in such a condition I would think most people would consider them now collectors items so I really doubt anyone would part with them for that price when they could flog it off for much more.

I've seen plenty of them go cheaply on eBay but the people selling them aren't "fans" as such..more like people based in Japan selling heaps of other LPs.
Fans who are selling them and appreciate the real value of them would not sell them for $35.

well you're all right, that's fair enough to pay more than 35AUD for these quite rare vinyls.
unfortunately,I just can't deal with japan sellers who tend to not reply to my polite questions about vinyl condition.

I bought the Roll On vinyl from Japan, with no questions asked and it was pretty much brand new, nothing is/was wrong with it. :)

I get kinda 'iffy' about ordering stuff online, especially from overseas...last time I did, my package somehow went on the wrong flight...meant to go straight from the US to Aus and it ended up at Heathrow for about two weeks before I was told there'd been a mix-up, lol
I'm still hoping to find a rare vinyl in some odd muso shop; just gotta keep an eye out. Well, that's the theory I'm working on anyway. :D

And i'm sorry that your online purchasing experience was thus. It's actually quitea brilliant way to go so long as you know the traps to look out for, and don't suffer at the hands of Australia Post or their overseas counterparts.

Roll On copy I bought is in "ex-" condition, I hope it's pretty good anyway, considering that all roll ons I've seen lately were worse.
will see once it's arrived.
