I remember somebody starting a thread like this on the old board, and I thought it was a great thread, so here it is again. There has been some recent cat talk in the picture thread, so I thought why not bring it into its own thread. I love seeing pictures of people's pets, whatever they may be!

she died a couple months ago, I took it alot harder than I thought I basically watched her die over three days and I was a fucking insane mess of a person through it. I understand how you think with cats though I don't think I could handle things without my Sam around. Moving alot would be really hard on a cat though so it's smart to wait. Hell if it wasn't for Sam I'd move to Australia in a second

We have a kitten-kat called Squidgy. She's mental. As we speak she's moved on from sitting infront of the monitor/lying ont he keyboard to trying to find a way to get my pizza shapes out of the filing cabinet  She wont eat most normal cat food, but she'll happily break into a packet of chocie bickies or cheds or pizza shapes if we're not looking. Last night i had a mid morning dash to the bathroom to chuck and she came with me and sat on a towel until i was feeling better, she's good like that, cos normally she'd just eat my ankles till i kicked her.

Most of my pets are dead, except Vlad the Impaler, the shitty hermit crab that I don't like 'cause he killed the others.

She could cos she likes rides in cars....but i don't know where i'd put her when the show is on, cos i think it would be a bit too loud for her :)
I have this dalmation, she's so old. Poor thing gets arthritis when its cold, i love her sooo much.
Also I have this cat named Ralphie:
as a kitten:

spooning with the siamese Elliot:
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/miriamsucks/0004.jpg
then there was Bear but he died a few months ago. aww.
tiger:
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y263/miriamsucks/0512190047.jpg
Also we have a big black beast named Bill, but every time I've taken a picture of him he just diappears into the shadow or whatever.
And lately this marmalade boy has been hanging about. Tiger will sort him out though. She doesnt take crap from anyone.
We used to have loads of pets, including a couple of peacocks that had deserted whoever actually owned them. Now we've got some chooks and a beast rooster, and we feed some wallabies and during the warwmer months theres usually about 2 carpet snakes around the house. Hamish's sister used to have this dog as well but she moved out and left the dog here, and then we just couldnt handle it so we found a new home for him.

yay siamese cats. Those cats are great and cute s hell too.
They are cute, but theyre *weird*.. like, this cat would rather stay up on his own all night that go to sleep alone. and he cleans all of the other cats, all the time. They do stay kind of 'kittenny' their whole life though, which is good and bad, i spose. when this cat wants to go outside, he jumps up onto the screen door and howls until someone comes and opens it. but one time he did that, and failed to notice the door was open. he did a face plant into the gravel outside.

hahah awesome. I love the fact that they are weird. Insanity is one of the best things about cats in general. My sam is a big freak. Does the siamese get really pissed off when people leave the house for a while? My cat gets right grumpy when I leave for a few days. He turns mean to everyone if I'm away haha
I dunno, we usually put him outside if we go out for ages. I remember when Bear died, the morning of it we put him in a box to take him to the vet (for a checkup that ended in him being put to sleep) and this siamese Elliot was so pissed off that we were trying to take him away. He would climb onto the box and sit on it and he was trying to block the door to the car, and howwwling.
And when we brought him back, and he was dead, Elliot just cried and cried. We were digging a hole about half a km away from the house to bury him and Elliot came up howling again and licking Bear and stuff.. It was SO sad.
He just feels really strong protective urges over all the other cats, even though hes probably at the bottom of the pecking order. Once when one of the cats had a sore on his tail, we were cleaning it, and it took two people to hold him down and the third person to disinfect the woud.. the cat was making so much noise that Elliot came and clawed his way up my boyfriend's back and bit him on the neck to try and get us off the cat. It was insane.
My Bird just died last night/this morning. It sucks... we've only had him for a few weeks and he was just getting used to us. I miss him already, and the shit thing is that during his small life all crap things have happened to him... he didn't even have a name. :(

Her name is Bronte.

Except then it jumped off a cliff and she came home.
we kinda have a pet cow/bull

we had to bottle feed him last year

that's really fuckin' sad. Poor cat. I think it's endearing when animals look out for each other.
Yeah, its cute and all, but man, they've got fuckin' sharp claws.
My Ralphie (the one i ACTUALLY own and don't just live with) has only scratched me once, and it was cause I caught him wandering half a kilometre down the road one day and tried to put him in the car.
He's just.. really really really lazy. Like.. I could do anything I wanted to him and the only reason he doesnt retalliate is cause he knows i'll get tired of it eventually, and he couldnt be bothered raising his claw. He's all fat and shit, and huge. I love him so hard.

Hahaha I liked my old horse. He was super. $500 to save him from going to the doggers, and he ended up beating horses that cost $35k every weekend.
He was super. But my parents, in an act of i don't know what, gave him away and bought me the one in my last post. Against my will, I might add :p

I have 2 cats.
A grey female called Spook who we think is part Burmese. She just came to our house one day last year and never left.
And a tubby tabby male called Cola who we got given when his family moved to the Gold Coast. We lost him for 8 days when we first got him coz Spook (little bitch that she is) chased him away. But then he came back.
I'll post some photos when I get some resized and uploaded.

ahaha cockatiels are hilarious looking no offence. I likes em when they're nice though
Jessii, your birdie looks so scary.
I'm pretty much terrified of birds because of the cockatoo at my boyfriend's house.
Everyone who lives there has scars on their hands and arms from her attacking us. She is such a horrible old bitch. She's also a man but has a girls name. She's probably cranky because she is so emasculated. She's only 35.. she'll outlive us all.
She likes Longers because he is so tall, and she likes my boyfriend's dad because he has owned her forever. Aside from that, its like in jurassic park where you know youre about to die if you don't give the cockatoo any of your toast, or any of your juice, or any of your wine, or anything you really want. You have to give it to her or face the horrible, horrible consequences.
I'm hoping the cockatoo and the rooster will have a face off and both die.

She was still a wittle girl last Christmas, and she loved the tree! I had to get a picture before I fished her out of there :p

He has destroyed our regular sized Xmas tree, so I went out and bought a small fibre optic tree. He destroyed that in seconds too. It was even in a place where we thought he couldn't reach because it was so high and he's not clever at jumping just yet

The cat thinks he's a Xmas Angel and likes to try and sit at the top.
I just finished packing the big tree away and put the fibre optic tree up higher so he has no chance of getting it, unless he gets a ladder
