I guess we should make this a thread for talking about this general.

I have found that the new york times website (http://www.nytimes.com/)is pretty good and you can zoom up to the individual counties. FUN.

so far the highest for obama that I can see is 80% in bronx county and the highest for mccain is about 89% in a few places in north-west oklahoma.

In fluffy news: the obama girlies are going to get a puppy. Cutest thing ever hahahaha.

transcript of his speech. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ynews/ynews_pl135

I know I said somewhere else that most of the other speeches (both obamas and mccains) were lame but I like this one.

If John Howard won the election last year, January next year will be when he retires.

I really think he'll be good for America.

He'll be good for the entire world.
Ironically enough I've spent the last 6 months studying and learning about America's Racist (RECENT!!) Past...
This is a huge step for America in comparison to how they were not even 50 years ago..

I remember my grandparents saying there'll never be a black president of America.

Gonan be a hella big change for starters, this time next year I reckon the war in Iraq will be done and dusted.

John McCain actually wanted the war, he was saying "No, lets send more troops over" or something like that. You know what I was thinking? Sure McCain, why don't we send you over there and fight the battle yourself.

Well he was hellamalarious but when his stupid actions ripple out across the world it stops being funny.

Up until they announced Obama I couldnt quite believe that America had grown up enough to elect a black president, i bawled.

Electiony stuff reminded me of the first election I paid any attention to.

Would you vote for the "Sun-Ripened Warm Tomato" party, the "Surprise Party" or the "Party! Party! Party!"?

Obviously someone would've, as they each got 1666, 166 & 979 votes respectively in the '89 ACT election.

There were a whole lot that werent eligable to register a party, but it was interesting...

I think I read a wikipedia page on amusing political parties where the 'party party party' was mentioned.

What do you think his nickname will be? You know, JFK, Dubya etc.

In Australia we should call him Bazza.
