I've been hard at work this arvo/evening, making some little sound bites from TLE's dvds. You could put them as your ringtone or as computer sounds or something, or just listen to them on repeat because you are strange. But I felt like sharing them. They're in a zip file on megaupload:

Haha I never really noticed any of that about their accents, I guess you have to be out of Australia to pick up on stuff like that. I can tell the difference between their voices but they all sound normal to me.

my grandma's boyfriend is from Minnesota and he's got a strange accent. he says "gawd" (and other words with that similar sound)

I have an accent supposedly...and we say Pop instead of Soda :p

Camembert (pronounced cam-em-bear) is the type of cheese that cheese-man is wearing. Chris says "I don't think he camembert it", making it sound like "I don't think he can bear it". It's a bad, bad, bad pun and that's why it's so funny! :D

but, on american dialects, i cannot stand southern accents! they talk so slow! that's one of the reasons why i have trouble understanding some australians...some talk normal to fast, and some talk very slow. supposedly, in NY, we talk very fast, but i don't ever notice it until i travel, and i feel as if i'm waiting ages for the next word to come out. it takes them so long to say anything, i forget what they're talking about.

in western NY, we give anything with an 'a' in a very hard one, like in 'ate'

When I met the guys, Scott was the hardest to understand. I didn't want to be a jerk and say "Can you repeat that again?" so after a while I just pretended I understood everything he was saying so I wouldn't get lost in the conversation. :p

Andy and Chris are relatively easy to understand, but some of the Aussie lingo goes over my head. :-/

haha no, it definitely wasn't on the dvd, this was backstage and I asked Chris how his eyes were and he went into this full blown story about what happened and then he's gone "It fuckin' hurt!" In the most bogan accent. And sorry Amur, without even looking at urban dictionary I can guess that that's no word to describe Chris, definitely, but that moment right there... :D
