Just quietly, I think the whole thing looks awesome.

Nah, I decided not to get the sticks on there, I was worried it might make the design look too cluttered. It took a while to get used to it, but I actually really like it without the sticks - and besides, I can always add them in later. Figured it was better to leave them out and maybe add them later, than get them done but then regret it.

Thanks! And the pain was....not as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it did hurt. Particularly when he was going over the tendons. But I reckon the end result made an hour of pain worthwhile. :)

I just went on a spree at the online store a couple days ago. I was bummed that the LAFH DVD was sold out, but now I have an excuse to buy more stuff in the future. (I mean, if I'm going to pay for shipping, might as well make it all worthwhile, right?)

In addition to building my b-sides collection, I'm working on my TLE "shrine," as my boyfriend calls it... he was kind enough to let me have a whole section of wall for TLE in our apartment. I'll take pics as soon as it's finished! :D

My TLE web shop purchases arrived over the weekend!!

I watched the FHOI DVD yesterday for the first time, and there were so many times where I laughed so hard I was in tears. And now I'm finally getting more jokes around here... ;)

I also got the necklace, but I didn't like that long, skinny chain it came with, so I put it on a thicker chain I already had. I got the wallet too, which is now already in use.

And, of course, I ordered a few CD singles too. It was so cool to finally hear Apeface and the Blue Moon of Kentucky cover and more! (Yeah, I know, "Welcome to the rest of the world, Atomgal!" LOL) :p

Theres a fair few TLE promos out there from the various record labels.

They make both promos for albums and singles, usually they just have very plain cover 'art' and discs (often plain white with normal black lettering).

ages ago i was at a second hand store, that had heaps of cd's in case with that gold promo stuff stamped on it. My guess was that they were normal cds that had been put in new cd +cases+ (albeit with promo guff that someone had lying around)

Yeah, I've got the same thing printed on my copy of Hellbound/It's For Your Own Good (the double pack, the one they released in the US). Printed in gold, on the Hellbound booklet. Looks like this:

My latest was buying State of Emergency for the second time. I found the imported Aus. DVD edition and immediately purchased. Cost me $41 but it was well worth it. My other SOE got signed a few weeks back.

They've come up really good. This way I can have them on display rather than just store them somewhere in their covers.
The framer didn't use any glues or anything on the disks or covers so if I ever want to take them out I can...

Yeah I think the MA was around $130 and a little bit less for the signed STD one cos it's obviously smaller. The OSTTO one was more expensive ($150 i think) cos it was pretty fiddley.
