haha my slide guitar story: i was sitting in music (class) playing with my friends slide thing (i dont have one) and i found what i thought was a pretty cool thing, and proceeded to play it for quite some time... had a few complaints ut still continued...

...like what Fritz said - Rose Tattoo. Keith Richards from the Stones rates Pete Wells as one of the best slide players.

I also like George Thorogood. Bad To The Bone would be a good slide song to start on.

If its a gretsch hollow then yeah pretty much the same. Chris is using an 800 tho, thats why he's got a real gainy sound.

Derek Trucks is an amazing slide guitarist.

Ash Grunwald does amazing stuff as well. Same with Xavier Rudd.

Nothing more fun than Open G and wailing some good ol' blues slide songs.

If you don't know how to play "Rollin and Tumblin" you might as well give up the guitar.
