To be honest, sounds kind of sketchy to me but I'd love for it to be true. I'll wait for a proper announcement before I get excited.
Surely we'd have heard news of this by now if it's only a month or so away?

Plus, loaded gun said that it was on Nova 900 - no such radio station. There's Nova 969 and Nova 937 though. Just a thought.

i think it would be a great thing for the band to release, a tour EP that is. A good 5 tracker, with raise the alarm as the title track.

i'm not too fussed about a new EP...
it seems rushed, what with the huge amount of B-sides and Rarities to come our way last year.
i still really want Rats...but i'm resigned to wait however long i guess
what i really want is a TLE live album/set
they're an awesome touring band and a collection of songs live would be awesome

As good as they are live, I wouldn't wanna 'listen' to a live album. Live albums by any band just don't do much for me. DVD's are ok for bands that never come your way but yeah, I would rather *cough rats *cough.

The boys are well overdue to release a live album. They're undoubtably the best live band in Australia, so it seems strange that they've never released a live album.

Songs like West End Riot, Second Solution, Carry Me Home, Hold Up, Who's Gonna Save Us, We Want More, How Do We Know, etc are just something else live. Their original recordings are great but live they are brilliant. Not to mention the mesmerising jams between songs and tracks like E-Boogie.

Having said that, this topic is about a rumoured new EP and I'd be suprised if that happens. Unless of course it's just an extended Raise The Alarm single.

I don't think its a tour EP...thats what the release of rarities/WN is plugging. I doubt it would be a live EP, unless is was a bobus disk on WN so if it is going to happen I reckon it would be new material. However, I highly doubt we'll see anything.

You can buy dashboard mounted satellite's. Sirius Radio / XM have them. And I've seen them installed on Pimp My Ride

I was thinking of what Stray Cats song they'd do a great cover of and I watched a youtube vid of Ubangi Stomp and realized they could do an amazing version of it. (Also, yes - I know Ubangi Stomp is already a cover.)

With no news on this EP at all, I think we can call this mostly done and dusted, anyway.
