Rising Sun is a better choice and much more sited to the band cos there is a bit more boogie in it and it's more of an old rock n roll song than anything else. Have a listen to the live version of the song of "The Last Stand".

Will be interesting to see what they do for the part where the piano solo should be. Don Walker guest keys player maybe?

Hahahaha, I checked the website yesterday and it was still under construction, and i get here today and everyone's already heard it!

It's FANTASTIC! My pickiness say the following: The bit where the piano solo used to be sounds a bit bare, i think lad guitar should have been at the same volume as the solo, and had a kinda stripped back or maye finger pick solo in there, so it's not as busy as the main solo. Either that or a bass solo would have had me messing my pants!

And those little breakdowns in the end are weird. I'm not saying bad...i'm saying I haven't got used to them yet...kinda interrupt the flow, but I'm sure i'll end up loving them. Cant' wait to see this live! Sounds like there's a bit of punk back in The Living End!

This afternoon at around 4:30 they played Rising Sun on Triple M. The guy rung up Chris and interviewed him for a couple of minutes. Nothing too exciting, something about how when the boys started out in Wheelers Hill they were the "anti-Chisel" and now that they've released a single from their tribute album, it's ironic, or something along those lines.
