TLE coming back to North America!!!

I know the Silverchair show has been mentioned in here. I'm writing more in reference to TLE coming to NYC in Feb.

They posted a bulletin a few weeks back stating they'd be coming to do some promotion for the album. I was just wondering if anyone had more details i.e. any promotion that may need an audience... Or if they're going to any other states for promotion.

Hopefully you can help me out :o I'd appreciate it.

well a girl on a Green Day forum, posted an email she got from a music promoter

it briefly said that TLE will be in NY on Feb. 12-13 for press, interviews, and the possibility of an acoustic performance! :eek:
but the purpose of the email was to inform any businesses in NY who wanted TLE to come by and visit.
so to the best of my knowledge, a set location for any interviews is unknown now

I'm still kind of bothered how I had to cancel my Toronto plan. Even though I wasn't old enough to attend the performance. :p

Thanks for the info. Gahhh, I would love to see them play an acoustic set. I wonder why they haven't posted any info on their myspace or website about it. I have to plan my itinerary if if the closest they come to me is NYC, haha.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I have been scouring NYC concert listing websites all day and have seen NOTHING. I'm sure they'd tell us if they were going to do a gig here, right?

I dont think they're necessarily doing a gig in NY
they're just doing like in-store press and interviews
maybe a small little performance, but I dont think you would find any info on a ticket website

The sites I checked were more for smaller venues, like places where my own band would play. But Manhattan alone has about a million of those. I was half wondering if they might do a "secret" gig under a different name or something. But now I'm thinking that probably doesn't make sense.

Honestly, I just don't see them doing any show in America unannounced. Even an in store, if it's not promoted, and people don't know, it's not like that many people are going to attend. For them to fly out here that, it doesn't make any sense.
