When i saw TLE on the 19th may, there was this guy on the balcony next to me and my friend getting totally pissed when kisschasy and gryroscope were performing, and no kidding as soon as TLE started playing, he was hanging over the edge with his head down and about 30min into the show security ppl came over and took him away caused he puked everywhere as was like semi paraletic. Lucky the spew didnt smell...I think he threw up on the bottom

The Shores, Adelaide last night was killer. The only downside to the evening was getting told to put the camera away when i was in fine position...and photo taking form.

Can't wait til this arvo's show....in fact i should really think about going!

Endo Fashun were alright....the played well i guess...so i enjoyed that part, but they thought they were top shit, and that pisses me off...and whilst their performances were sound, they really didn't appear to be putting much effort into it....that also pisses me off. My mum, elder and younger brothers are coming to see TLE with me - I'm not standing "with" them though, Mum and the little brother are stickin' together.

They came with me last time they were here, and when we went and saw their soundcheck and met them afterwards last year.
Mum's got ATD as her ringtone - it's the "You've got no reason" bit hahaha! It's great! Chris was quite impressed when they met last year - she had monotone ringtones then, and it was WER <- he was amazed at technology, and that it was in the right key and everything :p

Mum's great though - she constantly steals my CD's and most of her iPod is filled with TLE!

I go to alot of shows with the old man, and sometimes mum. But it's mostly stuff you'd closer associate with a mature taste...like The Idea Of North, Missy Higgins, and Jamie Cullum...all fantastic shows. I used to go see musicals like HMAS Pinnafore and mikado and stuff with gran too.

Me, the missus, Mum & dad are all going to see Ben Folds at the end of the month...gonna be sweet

Twas the same for the Perth gigs. The ones bought from music stores and online were different to the ones from the pre-sale, so you should be able to get in with both tickets.

Mine's an SLR one. I don't know how to describe the size of a camera. I'll just say, it's about 10-15cm long. I'm hoping on getting a spot up on the barrier, but if the security do tell me to put it away, I'm not sure what I'll do with it, because it's not like I can just put it in a pocket, I'll have to hold onto it for the whole gig, I suppose.

Thats what my plan is as well. If the Crowd Control Officers (the ones at the front) tell me/you to put it away do you reckon that we could just put it on the other side of the barrier? No one would take it and we could just collect it at the end of the gig.

I don't think any of us are, I was just going to leave mine in your mums car and just use it for after (if that's okay with your mum). Supposing you managed to get in with it, if we're on the barrier I highly doubt the security guards will let you take photos with your camera, since it looks so professional. They would probably confiscate it, though it would be kept somewhere safe and everything.
From past experience, heaps of people get cameras in, but heaps also get their cameras confiscated, especially if they're near the front where the security guards can get to them.

Cargo pants with deep pockets and then put a shirt in the pocket and have it hanging out to give the secrity guards the illusion yo just have a shirt in your pocket. It works a treat but once you get it in nobody gives a fuck if you take photos or not!

Quick question to anyone who waited for the boys outside after a show: What time did the show finish? And what time did the boys come out?

Tomorrow I can wait 'til midnight (cause I have my learner's test tomorrow) which is a bit of a bummer but I just wanted to make sure there was plenty of time - I DON'T WANT TO MISS THEM!

For Bendigo show, it was at least one hour after show ended. We caught them just before they were about to leave though.

Outside the entrance, near where they were loading the equipment into a truck. But then Kim called us and we went around the back a bit where the Tarago was. But this won't really help for the Palace!

For both Tassie shows, they finished just before 12. On the first night we never saw them even though we waited for 2 hours while the truck was being loaded up and we only left when we knew that there was no one left there cause they had locked up the whole building!
On the second night I had to leave, but Sarah and Michael hung around the stage door and I think they came out at about 1.15-ish.

I'm so tired and can't be bothered describing my night in details, but just answering what other people have said in the last page or so, we met Kim and Hugo after the gig. They told us that the gave Chris a bottle of wine, hehe.

We spoke to Rae after the gig for a while, she told us that Tainted Love was the most popular song in the online vote. I swear to god, hearing them play that the way they did, just wow! It was insanely awesome. When we were talking to Rae, she asked if we were the tent people. She told us how she and the boys all knew about it and were looking forward to coming to see us after the show. We waited out the front for maybe, an hour. Then they came out and walked over the road to where we were set up. Spoke to the boys for a while, until security told us that they had to leave.

Looking forward to tomorrow! Oh, and for those interested in taking cameras, I didn't take mine, but there was lots of people taking photos so I don't think it should be a problem.

I'm a little bit annoyed cos we were the second lot of people there, but we were waiting at the wrong door, so we lined up, but by the time heaps of people pushed in we were really far back. I ended up next to the most annoying girl ever who took up so much room and kept pushing me and elbowing me back out of the way when I was only trying to stay in the spot I'd been in the whole time. Sorry to the people in front, you must have gotten a few elbows in your back. In the end I gave up and moved to the side of the stage.
But anyway! Onto the happy stuff. The gig was awesome and they played amazingly! I don't think I'll ever get sick of hearing them play. Like everyone else said, the guys came straight to our tent when they came out, which was pretty cool. I think I might have convinced Scott to play From Here On In at tonight's show, I'll have to remind him. We got photos, talked, gave them cookies (VB cookies and cookies of them, Chris and Scott both thought Scott looked like Fred Flinstone but oh well!). It was great meeting them, and all the forumers too and I should probably go sleep some time too so I'm not super tired tomorrow, so I'll stop rambling now! Tomorrow we'll line up at the right door and can hopefully all be at the barrier!

There'd been people there all day but no one formed a line until maybe 4:30ish? And it wasn't even really a line. I think people were cutting in left, right and centre.

Well we got there at 10ish and only a couple of other people were there, and by the time we realised we were at the wrong door, which was I'm not sure what time... there were about 16 people infront of us. But when the queue formed more, heaps of people pushed in, so those 16 people infront of us turned into a lot more... Sorry that wasn't really very helpful.
The palace is a pretty small venue so if you wanna be on the barrier without having to push through people to get there, I advise getting there pretty early if you manage to keep your place in the line. Or you could push in, but that's not as friendly :P

That's where a group of us stood while waiting for the Living End to come on, it was a really good spot. We had loads of space and had a great view of the stage. If I can't get to the barrier today, I'll be standing there for most of the show I think.

I hope the guys come out either before or after the show. would be awsome. Ill have to taxi home, which is gonna like be $40+ to get home. I dont know how you manage it. The only thing i have ever gotten from a band from the show was a face towel from the D12 concert cause i was up front. at first i was kinda like ewww when i caught it cause it was all wet and stuff, but then i was like hehe. That guy is now dead to. I never washed it:cool: And it took me ages to wash my tshirt which had been sprayed with champaigne (cant spell)

I cant imagine what it looks like in there. Is it small as? Its something to keep in mind. I thought of waiting after the show to see where they would come out, any ideas where they would come out from?

Everyone last night (including Rae) thought that Thursday night's show was better than Wednesday, but I still think Wednesday was the best I've ever seen them play. The crowd was so loud last night, it was crazy. It was really good to hear Hold Up live. Last night after the show, I think I was the only one who wasn't injured in some way, but I woke up feeling like crap. My whole body aches and I can't stand up for more than a few minutes because my feet are killing me. It was fun catching up with everyone again.

LINE UP NEXT TO THE LEFT STAIRS! The right hand side ones weren't open for the unders, although it was a bar so perhaps for the overs it will be open? But yeah, the LEFT DOORS! and don't line up on the steps, but next to them.. haha we were there before 12 each day!

The people didn't really care what you took in, water bottles are fine. The security dudes also didn't give a shit if you were taking photos, so get up the front and start snapping! hehe. They keep the stairs (outside) clear so when doors open, they rope it off and that becomes one of the 'gates' to go in. They take tickets inside.
