commas i'de say hahah otherwise if they were $38 and $60 dollars i'de have atleast 2 of each :p

whats so much more special about them? and why are they so much?

firstly because there aren't many. second, I guess they're from the custom shop and, thirdly because they are special signature models. Each one of those increases the price geometrically until you end up with the silly prices they are asking there.

for those of us not so in the know... what sort of bridge is that on the van halen? is it a floyd rose? and whats that circle looking jazz on the left of it?

thanks for the comment kev! i'll give ya one in the gut next time i see ya!
Those guitar are 'relics'. Basically they took setzers original 59, eddies original strat, found the same parts, stickers, added the exact same cracks and dents, added the same rust, added the same scratches ect ect.
Over at the namm guitar show they got eddie van halen (very drunk by the way) to try out something... They lined up 3 relics and his original guitar and he couldnt tell which one was his real one.

Theyre special, because professionals study the artist's ACTUAL played guitar (in Setzer's case his first 50's Nashville 6120), then get a brand new version of the guitar and destroy it so that its in EXACTLY the same condition as the one Setzer plays. Plus they add whatever bits and pieces to the new one so that it has matching specs as the ancient one (different pickups for example). Definately not worth the price tag unless you are a collector or an over-obsessed fan.
BTW, the Eddie Van Halen looks absolutely trashed, liek if you picked it up the pickups would fall out. I didnt even know he played Fenders, I thought he played KRAMERs?

I've always wondered what the market for these guitars is. No musician would be too keen on playing someone else signature guitar, especially at this price. As Deanis said, they're collectors items mainly

That occured to me the other day, especially at that kind of price range.. that's one serious collector!
