Oslo 28/06/09 gig photos

I'm very glad we were there to support boys, because club was so tiny and there were not many people inside (about 80, I guess).
I didn't take a lot of good photos from that night because lighting conditions were, eh, bad. :( But I have couple of nice shots. Will post others (best ones) soon.

Thank you, but I'm not very proud of these particular photos because there are too many blurry ones and I want to have more professional result. We have 3 coming gigs in St.Petersburg this august, will try to take photos of them too (Mad Caddies, Creepshow, Amanda Palmer)

Hey pals! We're back just now, and starving!!! This trip was much harder than trip to Germany. We'll post our impressions and some photos tomorrow.
Yana - here's many great shots!!! We love alot of them!!! Maybe there's not so good lights as was on the big stages but guys's expression is awesome!

So here are our review about Oslo gig and our trip.
We took the plain and than bus to Oslo and this made us sick, we didn't sleep well whole week before trip and night before plain so first day in Oslo we was in terrible condition. We lived in hostel, it was quite good and our roommates was fine too. We met Yana and Sasha at the late evening and hanged around Oslo opera.
So next day when we met with Yana and Sasha in Garage club we finally felt well! That's was super sweet when Scotty saw us all and told - "Together again!". TLE guys looks well and also we met and introduced with Matt Handley.
Club was small and there are really was 100-120 people that evening. It was fun that Garage personnel knew that we all came from far and they keep asking - Are you came from Russia and Ukraine just for gig? It was so funny!
We enjoyetd watching the support band Cables - girls punk band. Their drummer was super awesome, this girl worked hard to keep her hans high and smiled all set! We respecting her work because she cares about show! We watched Cables 1st time and they did well for make us remember them.
So TLE begins quite quick and 1st 4 songs was killer! We are was in 1st row and going wild! It was harder than in a big venue because less air inside. We watched behind sometimes during the set and was pissed that nobody dansed at all! Some old-rockabillies shaked hands during Prisoner of Society, some girls just shaked heads a bit. After gig one elder girl in Long Tall texans t-shirt told us - "Where you from? It was fun to see you in first row" - damn we hate this lazy aggorant old-psychos so mush!
Raise the Alarm, Who's gonna save us, Make the call and White nosie was the most driving this time! TLE plays very honest - doesn't matter there was small audience! We respect them for it!!! We enjoyed Scotty's base which he had this time - great instrument! The greatest pleasure was to hear Pictures in the Mirror!!! We asked Scotty is it possible to play it for us because we really love this song from Roll On. Chris confirmed that they can and it was great! He even told from stage that it was Madtwins's request. Thanx to the guys for their generosity!
People shouted for some old songs like Uncle harry, Monday and Closing in and TLE plays a bit of Uncle harry beginning. We was impressed because our local bands usually ignore such requests.
Second solution and End of the World was kick-ass and guys went on encore. It was super fun - Chris weared the shirt we gifted him. He rolled the sleeves! We always knew Chris and Scott dig in '50th style and it's became habit! We respect them that they perform in jeans, creepers, drapes and leather jackets - don't care that this is hard and hot for stage!

What about little gifts we made for guys. It was ideas we got immediately when we got back home from Germany. We made "white noise style" shirt for Chris, tatoo-style t-shirt for Andy with words from traditional ukrainian song, and name painted Vans for Scotty. This ideas come easy, so we decided to do it. Just for TLE forum we'll post soon some photos with process of creating this items. We always creating some custom stuff so it's one of the way we can express ourselves. We glad that guys just took it home and it will be in Australia :)
Also we took with us our White Noise CD and give it to the guys for sigh it. It was so sweet they write us little messages not only signatures!

We have some nice talks after gigs, everybody was tired so there was no some serious talks. We was interested about White Album and Chris told he's going to sing the most rock'n'rollish songs. He told that cheaf of this project choose the songs for each singer. Also Chris didn't know about is White album concert going to be filmed for TV or DVD.
Andy told he's not loosing weight in tour while playing drums hard becuase he drinks beer too much. He also told they enjoyed our cartoon-drawing TLE and crew, especially Jim - the sound engeneer, he was very excited, it was very sweet becuase we sympathise him so much! We, Yana and Sasha loughed so hard trying to teach Andy to spell his name on Ukrainian, he speaks "Dobriy den" very well (it means - good day for you, hello). Also we asked Andy about surfing and he explained us many things, for us ukrainians it was so exotic!
Scotty told us about his base, it's old '50th base with special art-cover on it. We thought it's glossy but it's appears like fabric. Scotty wears the Vans after gig and joking he's going to walk to Copenhagen where thay have next show :)
Boys left after the show so we said our goodbyes and told we'll work to go to Germany this Autmn! We are thankfull for the warm atmosphere and hot gig in Oslo! Love TLE!

And thanx for your comments guys, and it's a pretty nice to be such "different" fans. It's just because we can't be on TLE gigs very often, so it's means alot to us and we try to express our feelings in full measure. For all artists the best way to do it it's an art, so we and Yana just did what our hearts tell us.

P.S. Yesterday we was at Mad Heads XL gig in club. There was some foreign guys and after the show Vaddy - leader of the band hanging around the club weared The Living End t-shirt which we bought for him in Oslo. That white one with girl and loud-speaker. So that foreigners stopped him and told that they are from Australia and they enjoyed alot. Than they noticed the shirt and their jaws fell down. Vaddy told they was excited and tell - And you know Living End!!! You're damn cool! Vaddy еold it's one of his favourite band. Australians was very surprised. They was lucky we didn't wear out TLE t-shirts taht night, that could be too much for them :)
