So I played it, only to be howled down because I played the original version, not the "remix" of the song.

I did some investigations on it and found out its: The Living End - White Noise (Ryan Riback Remix)

i heard something about Travis today.

apparently a mate of mine went to some school camp/Youth retreat thingo
and Trav was one of the leaders!
without going into too much detail that might be personal, my mate said he summarised his life story. about how he grew up in Gippsland, didn't have the greatest childhood...and how he first started drumming because there was a kit at school and the teachers sent him there to vent.

anyway, i'm personally not certain of why he left the living end exactly.
and my friend seemed to think that it was simply a matter of the living end not being 'hardcore punk' enough for Trav, and he wanted to drum in a more Punk style. no idea how true that is, but thats what he said :)

so just really interesting, basically!

The official line was that with all the touring he missed home and family. And that holds the most water anyway because he used to mention how hard it was alot.

Travis always played whatever he wanted to play anyway, so if he wanted to, he'd have played "hardcore punk" on the skins no matter what Chris and Scott were doing up front!

Yep, pretty sure that's BDO. They usually wear jackets at the start of gigs, and that's when the photographers are only allowed to take photos (first three songs). But still..jackets in summer!


Also, if you're thinking of buying them, the seller most likely didn't take them him/herself. I know of a few people who have found their pics being sold on eBay.
And the fact that they're only being sold as 6x4, suggests that maybe their not very good quality either :(

Unfortunately I can't really help with your question but I just want to say I can sympathise with you, I did music all throughout high school, and the last thing you want to worry about with an assessment coming up is getting a backing track! The only tip I ever picked up about creating one was that some CD players have a function where you can lower the main instrument playing, however I don't know if that would work for guitar if there are vocals also on the track (probably would delete them instead). Good luck anyway!
