The Metro?

How the fuck are they meant to play there. NIN are a stdium band. They should be playing at Rod Laver or Vodafone. The Metro is too small to cope with the demand for tickets that NIN will expect. Plkus the Metro is almost as bad as Festival Hall!

For those that are interested, Tix are $77 plus booking fee. Thats only $10 or so dollars less than last time they were here (August 2005)

Fan club presale starts Monday (19th Feb) at 9am and regular sale on Friday 23rd at 9am.

Apparently there is no public presale for these shows.

Just an update for those who were attending tonights Sydney concert:

Its been postponed. Trent wasn't happy at last nights gig, the sound was shit, the venue is shit, so he cracked the shits.

Theyre currently working out when they can play again. It should be announced in the next 24hours or so.

10th May show has been rescheduled to Saturday September 15
11th May show has been rescheduled to Sunday September 16.

The big top IS a shit venue. Saw the Darkness there and everything about the place just stank. Security were useless as well

At tonights gig he cracked it again. Walked off 30mins early.

Still a fucken top gig though.

Basically, some twat in the crowd decided to yell at Trent when he was playing 'hurt' and trent stopped mid song and yelled at the guy for yelling at him whilst he was playing. He then said 'you know fuck it, Im done' and pushed the mic stand over.

They played one more song, then the house lights came on.

So we missed out on the last half hour of the gig, which was kinda disapointing but still was awesome gig.

IMO him walking off stage would've been just as much worth it as seeing an entire set :p

I read an interesting article about him in the Herald Sun last week. He certainly says what he feels. Said some stuff about concerts, record companies, marketing, etc.

Yeah he seemed pretty pissed off that Universal were charging $10 more for his CD because of its fancy packaging. And he has a core audience that will buy anything he throws out for whatever price.

Good on him for havin' a go at them. I laughed at how all Universal staff had to pay for their tickets. I would do the same if I were him.
