Album track comparisons: Track 12

We're now at the business end of the polls with white noise finishing on a high by winning track 10 and 11. The remaining albums are now fighting out the last 3 tracks. Track 12 is interesting with no singles but still some fine tunes. Another close call I think... vote away!

RUFTA next. was a great song on MA had a real TLE vibe too it.

I agree with your killing the right statement.

Roll On has so many shining lights, its so musically complex and just fantastic, but Killing the right, ot KTR haha :laugh:, is one of, if not the albums most interesting song.

Its a great tune from An AMAZING ALBUM.

Killing The Right hands down. Always loved it, found it even more interesting when I learned it was about the "stolen generation" of Australian aboriginals.


I dunno if I'm the only one who geeks out to this extent, but on the FHOI DVD, when they're rushing through the Roll On section of the TLE tale, one of the clips shows them working on a deleted section of Killing The Right. It's this really cool marching-beat thing based around the little mini-solo that became the first few seconds of the album version. Sweeeeeet

KILLING THE RIGHT!!!

1. Killing the Right (well obviously! ^^) - Great song, strong intro and meaningful lyrics; all-round beauty.
2. I Want a Day - Strong song, and not much to put down on it, it's a comfortable second.
3. State of Emergency - Fun song, energetic and is simply full of life, but it loses to the stronger lyrics and beat of the above songs.
4. Rising Up From the Ashes - ...I find this one kinda corny sometimes..."rising up from the ashes, ooooohhhhoooohhhhooohhhhhh!!"....just a bit on the 'eh' side of things imo.
