okay...so its been discussed before, but not in nearly the depth i think it deserves.
5 studio albums into this amazing band's career...and thousands of gigs...
and no live album!!

it occurred again to me today...that the living end are probably the single greatest live act in this country, and still haven't released an official live CD that we can all devour.

can anybody shed light on this? is it possibly lack of sales it would generate?
reluctance from the band, considering the 2-3 DVDs they've already brought out?
because i think its about time the boys played a killer show, recorded it, and showed australia just how great they sound live :D

i wait in great anticipation for this occurence...

Yeah I also thought it's an official announce of Live Album release :D
I don't know, it's good idea of course, but I personally don't like bands' live albums. To me they're similar to studio ones but poorly played
TLE are amazing live, indeed, but live album wouldn't be able to reflect it anyway. Maybe they're not releasing it to make more people go to their shows to find out why the hell TLE are called best live act of Australia? ;)

I reckon just keep doing live DVD's if they do do live stuff.

DVDs are great, but it'd be oh so sweet to have say the 8 minute live version of All Torn Down to rock out to on CD or ipod...

band reckons we are smart enough to rip sound off the DVD and enjoy it :D
but I don't bother...I only watch live videos. Rarely...

TLE live cd would be epic.
maybe a cd and dvd pack?

but i agree with the other points, low quality equipment would be bad.

either way TLE are the best live act i've ever seen.
