I use a variety of headphones for different applications.
When playing DJ (on radio and in the club) I use Pioneer HDJ1000 (http://www.storedj.com.au/products/product.php?id=646)
For my Macbook I use: Skull Candy ear phones or Skull Candy Headphones (http://www.storedj.com.au/products/product.php?id=2765)
And for my ipod, I use Shure Canal Phones (http://headphones.com.au/psingle?productID=411)
Will be purchasing these puppies for work at some stage Technics RPDH1200 (http://www.storedj.com.au/products/product.php?id=166)

Really? I wouldn't pay over twenty bucks for headphones.

I just get the cheap and nasty ones. The Ear-bud types (but not those gross new ones that plug directly into your brain). They tend to do the trick. I'd spend more money on speakers and amps, rather than personal listening devices!

My pair are from the dollar store.
I would not recommend skullcandy. Overpriced with too much emphasis on aesthetics opposed to sound quality...

They sound like shit. I didn't pay for mine. The Smirnoff Rep from work gave them to me to test run.
They're the Smirnoff Vodka edition. And they're not that comfortable either.
I did try BeatsbyDRE at the Mac store a month or so ago. They were nice, but didn't feel comfortable whilst wearing them. But still wouldn't pay for them

I've got a pair of Sennheiser ones which I love, they came with three different sized rubber doovers because I have odd ears so they fit perfectly. Swear by them.
I have KOSS Porta Pro (http://www.amazon.com/Koss-PortaPro-Headphones-with-Case/dp/B00001P4ZH)
I don't really like it's look but I love sound. It has very good bass compared to plug models.
Chels, I'll let you to listen through them so you'll hear difference between 1$ headphones and listenable headphones! ;)

I have Sennheiser PX 200. I use them for my iPod and laptop and any other headphone warranting occasion. They're wonderful, especially for classical music. They sound so crisp and block out a good deal of outside noise, without being massive and hideous. It means I can stay up watching films/listening to music to the wee hours of the morning, without waking my flatmates. I hate cheap nasty headphones, and I don't really like earbuds either.

Ok! I'll have to take a listen, he he.
I have some Sony Megabass earphones - the bud-type ones, not the sound-blocking-extra-dangerous ones. Been using them for years, gone through probably 2-3 pairs in the last 10+ years. Relatively cheap for good quality.
Sennheiser are top for quality, but you will pay for it.
