I need some suggestions!

My work is having an early xmas drinking session/Going away party for one of our staff members and it's this friday. The theme is black and white, so I will be dressing up accordingly.

We're all bringing along some sort of food. I want to take black and white food, but the only thing I can think of is orio cookies :p Or I might make a baileys cheese cake (close enough to being white) topped with flakes of dark chocolate (close enough to black).

Any other ideas? :flowers:

You could take:
- Licorice Allsorts
- Penguin chocolates (and mail some to a certain person in QLD also)
- Vegemite & cream cheese platter :p

Bangers and Mash, first thing that came to mind.

Provided the Bangers are very, very dark.

Maybe an oreo cheesecake? Though that may be a terrible suggestion.
Or those black and white cookies that aren't oreos, but one half is black and one is white
Black and white bean salad
Chocolate covered bananas
marble bread or marble cake
some sort of creamy dip paired with light coloured bread
clams in shells (nasty and probs expensive but eh)

And this is really good:
Take about 3 cups flour
6 tsp. baking powder
4 tablespoons butter
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking powder
about 3/4 cup milk
Mix it together and pour it into muffin tins and bake it at about 200 C for 12-ish minutes. Then take some lemon juice, a container of blackberries (the ones they come in) some sugar and some water, and simmer it on a griddle until it looks more liquid, then put butter on the muffin-biscuit-type-things and put the blackberry stuff on top.

I can't see anyone eating stuff that's too "fancy" and the fact that I have to make it either Thurs night or early fri morning before might limit my choices.
