that is a HORRIBLE picture of the Lester, the colour is way off, but you get the point :D the actually colour is alot warmer, with a darker shade of red, with a more even fade into a golden orange/yellow colour. it looks beautiful in real life

thats my attempt to try and capture the flame top. thats polish residue on the side of the guitar, i have to clean that up. i love the top of it. im not usually a fan of flame, but this is a nice, lightly done, but enough to see that its there. its very even, and extends to the end, and most importantly, the top is perfectly matched (ive seen some terrible matching jobs in the past)


i had no idea i was getting it, because i hardly put anything into my share, so my parents paid A LOT for this. i was so suprised.

it sounds so good. the Gretsch is still my #1, and it does sound better than the lester, but this thing sounds so good. i love it.

It's a honda CBR125R... just a small bike, 125ccs, but perfect for going to and from uni. cheap as to run... and I can't go over 250cc's anyway, coz i'm still in my first year of riding.

I'm BAAACCCKKKK everyone :) i'm going to start tralling through these threads and catch up with everything, excuse my non replying whilst i get up to speed.

NOIICCEE lp there mitchy, the entire rig is extremely droolworthy!!!!!!

I GOT ME A JOB!!! 30k for the year, repairing and installing industrial vending machines (as in they have ear plugs and stuff like that in them). i even get free travell to do it sometimes!!! i get to go on all expenses paid business trips all around the country (yes dave -even WA)!!! i dont know the ins and outs of it yet, all i know is it will be all weekdays work (weekends off woooo) 40 hours a week. it is the perfect job!! so i expect a shiny new white stringed instrument in my arms within the next three months MAX (gonna aim at two) :D

and then ebay/tgp shall be my oyster... gear ahoy!!!!! :laugh::laugh:
