Cool, thanks for posting this. I've heard of Reel Big Fish (know one song I think) and heard of Guttermouth. I may just go for the hell of it, depending on prices.

$49.30 ... maybe not just for hell of it then :p

This is just like two years ago, except with Guttermouth in place of Goldfinger. I got a free ticket to the Roundhouse for the show on that tour - and spent all of Reel Big Fish's set in the bar talking to some random guys who were only there for Goldfinger. Goldfinger were cool, and Bagster were alright. I'd've paid more attention if I knew they were Bagster.

I think I heard about that gig with Goldfinger - I'd love to see them play one day.

Bagster are awesome :D

If they manage to add an underage show in Melbourne (which both Reel Big Fish and Bagster seem to want to do) I'll go!

Reel Big Fish are hilarious on stage. Might get on people's nerves though if its not their cup of tea.

Hey there Under age Australians!! let us begin by saying that we are just as, if not even more pissed off than you are about this whole 18+ thing! we have always prided ourselves on doing ALL AGES shows and when we got our tour dates for Oz we were HORRIFIED to see that most of the shows on the tour are 18+!!! bullshit!! we are trying our best to figure some way to make these shows all ages or to add some all ages shows or something, we think it's terribly unfair that ANYONE should have to miss an RBF show!! we really hope there is something that can be done about this!! so sorry everybody!!

I hope they do do something about this. I mean, I love overage shows and all; it really weans out the shitty little loudmouth pushy-shovey boppers, but this sucks cos the only other person I know who are kinda into them is my sister. And she's not 18 yet. And I'm one of those lameoids who have to have someone to go with or not go at all. I hope I do find a fellow RBF fan. I love this band.

So it turns out I'm going to this one after all. I met a girl who's a fan, and the show is on her birthday. Gonna go learn more of their songs now :p

I like bagster.. I will see them with Billy Talent in late April.
If I didn't go to DKM's last night I would probably be going to this.

If anybody's interested, Bagster are doing a tour diary here (http://bagsterontour.livejournal.com/) :)

To everybody who's going, I definately recommend getting there in time to see Bagster. Great band and nice guys too.

Yeah, Bagster were cool. RBF's set went off.. I had a blast and only knew about 2 1/2 of their songs :p! Guttermouth were true to their name. They'd've been better musically without their frontman.

I saw a bit of bagster and what I saw I liked but I spent most of their set playing pool and talking to people I hadn't seen for a while. I probably shouldv'e saved the pool and socialising for Guttermouths set cause they're pretty shit. And it doesn't help that they're hideiously ugly people... Reel Big Fish were so great! Such a fun live band! They're funny bastards too :P. Also, I never really appreiciated their musicianship till I saw them live. They're really really good players!

Highlights of the set would have to be the million versions of SR and Enter Sandman \m/,

Dancing about to those million versions got pretty tiring after the first 6 or so :p

How was it then??
My friend was practically in tears at being under 18. 'Specially 'coz one of our mates had a spare ticket.
