Mixtape swapy thing...

So i was searching some one threads and found this one (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showthread.php?t=27) from afew years back and thought it was a cool idea.

would anyone be keen to do it again, if so im happy to organise and just post in her or pm me if you wanna be involded.

I volunteered to organise the last one but it never happened.

Not enough people were interested at the time and the one we did before that was a disaster because a few people's CDs got lost in the mail.

I think these things are more fun for both the maker and the recepient if everyone has their own theme to work with. Like, last time I did this I made a mixtape full of 'foreign language music (http://www.thelivingend.com.au/vBforum/showpost.php?p=11630&postcount=101)" and yeah, I think that was pretty fun to put together. I think it also means that people are more likely to hear new and interesting music rather than just the same old boring stuff that they already know about.

I suppose the challenge is trying to think of a theme, but I reckon y'all can be creative.

They tried a couple of themed mixtape swaps. Didn't go down to well.

If I was participating, whoever my recipient was, they'd have to be prepared for a disc full of Angsty Hard Rock / Industrial / I'm Gonna beat down the office door and go postal on everyone type of music.

Though that would probably change after I've had a proper sleep haha
