Anyone know how to properly pin a Gretsch floating bridge down? Or do I need to take it to a professional?

On mine I just used some double sided scotch tape..... it worked fine. It hasn't moved in 3 years.

i have sort of a love/hate relationship with steves music, i asked to try a green annie once, he reaches for a tenny and i correct him and say "no the green one", the dude goes up and brings it down from up high, i ask to plug it into a certain amp, he tells me no and plugs me into a different one. then as i am playing he just stands and watches me like a hawk. i mean, do he think i was going to try and steal it from a busy store like that? i ended up just playing for like 3 mins and giving it back to him, it felt uncomfortable to play while there is a 50 year old salesman standing next to me watching me play. so more time goes by and i ask a different salesman to let me play a cheaper guitar. as i'm playing (amp volume at about 1.5) the old salesman comes by and tells me to turn it down. so i turned it down to about 1, 3 minutes later he comes back and without asking turns it down to a mere whisper (meanwhile there was a metalhead one row over with his amp cranked up). the guy was being a total dick.
on a good note the store has a pretty good selection and most of the staff know what they are talking about. prices are little high on guitar stuff there compared to most places tho.
Wizard, no i haven't done it yet, but i plan on taking it in the near future back to the Twelfth Fret (place i got it [12fret.com]) and having on of their guys do it.
