View Full Version : Ordering/Recieving TEIJTBR and postage issues
I got my email from 'Universal/GetMusic Store'with Australian Air Express with tracking number at about 1pm on Friday. When i checked it sais it was at my local post office and was shipped from Sydney that morning. I was at work but my mum picked it up for me :) I thought i would have to wait until Monday, but got a nice surprise when i got home!
In regards to the pack; it is awesome! Everything was there inside the tote bag.
I wasn't expecting an additional CD booklet signed, which was nice. JB definately got it wrong, the comic is not A3, its half A4-size. *Edit, their website now says A5*
Only problem i have is that my vinyl is really warped/bent. It seems to go up-and down while playing :( I think i'll have to shoot an email off and try to get a replacement. Anyone else have the same problem?

Mine arrived on Friday (to Vic, not Tassie). Haven't played my vinyl, but a few of us had a listening party Friday night & one guys vinyl continuously kept skipping.

Mine came on friday. I haven't played the vinyl and have no plans to. It's not coming out of the plastic, ever!
I ordered a small shirt and the tag says small, but it definitely was not a small shirt! I could wear it as a dress if I wanted to.

they are mens sized shirts it seems... though the large isnt quite big enough to be comfortable for me

Yep, my 'small' shirt looks huge too. It did say unisex though on the tag..or bag. Somewhere.

Haven't even been given tracking by JB, won't be ordering from them again.
As far as I know, they don't give tracking numbers out for their stuff, unless it's something big like a TV, DVD Player etc, because it's sent via courier.

You're meant to get a free download with the vinyl, site doesn't work, just a parked domain.

Fair enough, my boyfriend is now the owner of the shirt and I plan to see what merch they have at the shows. Maybe they'll have something in my size there, not that I am low on TLE shirts.
Same thing happened with the Children Collide album, their shirt was huge!

Hm, it seems that my vinyl skips the last couple of seconds of United's ending and jumps a couple of secs straight into Universe...will check again tomorrow, wasn't paying too much attention but it was an obvious jump

Not until I SHOVE a credit card statement in their face. Because I'm PRETTY sure that it went through the first time around. Great, now I'm going to get things sent off to me later than expected. Not exactly happy, or anything!
I got the email half hour ago from JB that it had shipped. The postie was here less than 5mins ago with the parcel. That was pretty quick shipping haha.

Still no sign, but tracking says its being driven around the adelaide since 7am. Surely it should be getting close.

Issues all sorted out, paid the extra ten dollars to ship it over to Canadialand instead of waiting for a friend to re-direct it. Expected it to be more. Happy Chelsea :)

I ordered mine from fist2face on Thursday and it all arrived this morning. Probably the quickest I've ever had anything shipped to me! My Vinyl packaging is creased up the top though, I assume this happened in transit.

Mine arrived about 2 minutes after my previous post. Bloody huge box with plenty of cushioning inside. Vinyl in good nick, about to put it on. Read half the comic, very good so far.

Mine arrived in the UK today, totally happy, in fact over the moon with the super-fast delivery, but I am a bit disappointed that a $90 purchase including 12" vinyl to the other side of the world was just rammed into an oversized jiffy bag ensuring that the vinyl sleeve is quite dog-eared. I'm not gonna moan though, great stuff and loving the comic.

Mine was in a giant box, but it was all just shoved into the TLE bag, so yeah vinyl edges have curled.

I got mine from fist2face and it came in a parcel bag. My vinyl is perfectly fine. I don't know if it plays or not because i'm keeping it as a collectors thing. Hasn't even been taken out of the plastic.
Also got some free stickers and a music sampler with it. Was pretty awesome.

It was Fist To Face to deluxe package, I got the sampler too. I'm just saving the vinyl as a collectors thing too. I have had 'collectors' complain that a 30 year old album that was in better condition is no longer 'mint' so it's never going to be that. You would have though they would post it in a proper card LP case, but hey, I got it super fast.

Payment didn't work AGAIN, so mum did it and it (finally) went through. Third time is a charm. Apparently I owe her now, but I do vaguely remember she said she'd pay for the deluxe package (which never happened) so I'm waiting until she comes after me for it :p

Mine didn't come yesterday, but it was shipped on Friday, so i assume i'll get it today. My vinyl was shipped today, so i should get that in another couple of days.
I sent Universal/DEW/GetMusic an email about the Vinyl and they are sending me a replacement and i'll have it in 3-4 days :) they didnt say anything about sending the damaged one back though....

Mine still didn't arrive yesterday. Bullshit. An Adelaide friend received theirs yesterday, I guess i'm just too far away...either that or my landscaper signed for it and hid it in the shed again!
