i hope i didn't get any one excited by that title, but how cool would it be if chris colaborated with someone like hot licks to make an instructional video. i think it would be the coolest video they have brought out next to setzer.

is there a possibility of making this happen???
talk to chris?
talk to hotlicks?

just throwing it out there, it may have been written before, sorry if it has.

tell me your thoughts!!!

I think it would be awesome for a Cheney hotlicks vid. I know there already is a tutroial thinger dvd (which I am desperately dying to get my hands on by the way...) But yeah, I'd like to see it happen one day!

i don't think it would be all that difficult if you think about it, it would just be a case (i imagine) of asking chris, checking with management, seeing when there is free time, getting on to hotlicks and such.

but imagine how cool it would be, taking us through his style, guitars, amp rigs, pedals. the whole shebang. wow.

I might let you in on a secret. I have a Chris CHeney instructional DVD
and no Im not about to put it on Youtube. He goes through his guitars, setup etc, goes through about 6 songs in detail, including Carry Me Home, with solo and all. Is rather classy, SOO many nice guitars too. I think it was made in 99?

Its a Tutorial CD and was available with some US guitar magazine quite some time ago.

It pops up every now and then on Ebay, but Don't expect to pay less than AUD50 for it. Its well sought after.

I happen to have a coppy fo some cheney tutorial dvd, well its actualy only a quicktime movie, but its still very good. my coppy is only 3 songs, POS, Roll On and carry me home, its quite usefull exept that they have a habit of showing his face rather than the threatboard when you get to a bit that you can work out and was hoping the vidio woudl help. its a good little vid ither way. (i aquired my coppy form by guitar teacher, im not entirly shrue where it originaly came form)

I think that would be a fantastic idea, of course. I'm not sure, but maybe if Rae can tell us how well the Tab book for SOM sold, there may be a real possibility of this happening...
