I know this has been done a million times before but I keep wanting to refer back to it every now and then for one reason or another. Can anyone hazard a guess at how his EQ and gains might be set up on his amps?

Gains very low, masters high (these days pretty high as he's using a power soak to soak up the volume), mids and bass pretty high and his top ends rolled to about 12 o clock-ish. Presence leaned back abit too..

I'm gonna be a Cheney impersonator when I grow up. And a question, do most guitarists out there have that many pedals? I know there are a couple with heaps more but is this an average set of guns?

i would say that was a faairly typical setup for someone like chris. He has a few more special ones perhaps. A nice distortion here and there. The bottom left one is for changing between all the other ones so that makes it look like he has a lot more than he really does. He's just got a lot of different types of distortion there. Some people only use one or two but he's obviously very picky about that.

having said that... you don't see too many wizard amps around the place. They're pretty special. Never seen one in the UK
